Bloodstained Necklace B+ - A false accusation involving a particular necklace. The necklace was said to have been adorned with diamonds worth 1.6 million livres. It is an inversion of the emblem of the French royal family (Fleur de Lis), a curse born from the power of royalty, darkness without light, and a final death cry. The true name "Vae Victis" was originally uttered by Brennus, king of Gaul, in the 4th century BC. It originally represented contempt for Rome, who had lost that conflict. By shouting "Woe to the vanquished", Marie prophesizes tomorrow's defeat, and the downfall of all those with pride. ...It is said, now, that the Fleur de Lis is a stylized iris, rather than a lily. However, in the past, the French royal family associated the Fleur de Lis with the lily of the Virgin Mary, and respected it as a symbol of faith and as the lily of the royal family. To them, and those who loved them, it must certainly have been a beautiful "lily".

She appears in Ordeal Call II as the "fourth trial". Appearing as "Student Council President Marie", she approached Chaldea's Master. Her own despair and rage, as well as her imaginary internal organs, were manipulated to form her familiar - the "Aggregation of Anger".
