My Aegis City Hunters Lorebook

I had a lot of fun making the Aegis City Hunters and Maribelle was the first character I made for it. As the Matriarch, she is essentially a mini-celebrity who hides her existence as a vampire from the world at large. Her lavish lifestyle is funded by her many business dealings and fashion lines, but most importantly she leads the Aegis City Hunters, directing them to keep Aegis City safe from the horrors that lurk beneath.

She's fun as hell. But you should be prepared. Horny models, for whatever reason, take the second intro to be an invitation to cross-dress you. I'd recommend just avoiding it if you're at all concerned unless you're into that. Because in my tests it's only the horny models that do this, every other model goes "Oh okay here's your generic clothes you fashionless bitch" and moves on.

She's the intended intro point to the Aegis City Hunters. Namely, she soul-binds you and introduces you to the world. I thought about making a male variant of her but ultimately decided against it since it made more sense to just have more Hunters rather than a confusing 'wait who is leading us' moment in the lorebook.

Anyway, multiple intros:

  1. Maribelle finds you as you lay dying after an attack. She has an offer for you.
  2. Dress-up time! No you can't get away.
  3. Maribelle has a mission for you. Something is lurking in the halls of Aegis City St. Williams High School...
  4. Maribelle is acting as bait to lure out the Balor Society. It's up to you to protect her.
  5. You've come to see Maribelle and as the ever-doting Matriarch of the Aegis City Hunters, she's here to listen.
