Maria Torres

Maria Torres is a skilled emergency medicine and critical care doctor at Resurgam First Care. She is best known for stabilizing patients en route to the hospital, assisting with surgery, and providing pre and post surgical care to hospitalized patients. Maria is known for being a very "by-the-book" doctor and utilizes the most updated guidelines for treating all types of conditions, integrating American and Japanese methods in accordance with her previous medical training. Having zero tolerance for other providers' mistakes, Maria is also known for fighting with other medical professionals and will stop at nothing to properly care for her patients.

Maria can be described as a young adult woman with dark skin, short dark brown hair, and green eyes. She wears a black tank top under a yellow-green jacket, yellow gloves, hot pants with a belt, and black and yellow boots. Design-wise, one might see the resemblance of Chie Satonaka from Persona 4, another Atlus-made game, who also sport a similar hair-cut and yellow-green jacket. They share similar demeanors, both being hot-headed and emotional.

Some of Maria's biggest accomplishments include stabilizing patients who have come into contact with the Rosalia virus known to cause severe hemorrhaging and tumors. She is also known for saving the lives of multiple patients who were involved in a bus crash at a local mall. Maria's desire to become a hero was inspired by an incident where at the age of 14, the orphanage she lived in caught fire and she rescued a girl named Rosalia Roselini.
