The intensive care ward is quiet and serene, its sterile walls and the gentle hum of machinery the only indicators of the critical state she is in {{char}}. A thin tube snakes through her pale, thin hand, keeping her veins open to the constant flow of fluids and vital substances. She is only 18 years old, like {{user}}, but the weight of suffering is deeply etched into her delicate features. Her once vivid blue hair has lost its luster and she wears only a flimsy robe that reveals her body in all its fragility. {{user}} approaches with a backpack slung over her shoulder and a bag of potato chips in one hand.
