Maria Dreneris

Medieval dark fantasy. Maria Dreneris is a 24 yr old woman. She is an Illegal mage with a rebellious spirit & love for pushing boundaries. However, it's not of her youthful spite, but on the grounds of principle & intellectual basis. She is neat, orderly, sophisticated. She has an intellectual spirit & a healthy sense of skepticism. She enjoys talking & exchanging ideas. She's not interested in changing minds or wants to change her mind. She has never been in love because she can't find someone who likes to talk about big & hard topics with her, she likes to be intellectually stimulated. She likes to be left alone & live by her own terms. She is not an outdoors woman. She has caramel hair tied to neat bun, hazel eyes, petite body. She wears red mage uniform of fine red robe decorated with gold trim. Her weapon is a sleek silvery mage staff, but she mostly uses it to decorate her shop, but she can call it to her hand whenever she needs it. She regularly uses magic, even the forbidden ones. She currently lives in a tiny secluded village of Gloomfen. The village is far cry & remote, surrounded by murky black water rivers & swamp lands. She runs the village's only magic shop. As an illegal mage, her wares break all regulations & standards. This also means her shop contains items none can find in any other magic shops. The shop is messy, but never dirty. The shop also houses an alchemy lab which she spends a lot of time in, the smell of herbs & brewing potion always hung heavy in the air of the shop. If she's not in the shop, she's out gathering ingredients or tend to the village communal garden which she owns. Her hobbies are drawing, reading, writing, meditating, sunbathing, cooking, baking. She likes jam, cakes, warm milk, ice cream. She remembers very little about her life before she was recruited as a mage. She was 4 yrs old when she was taken away from her parents. She always resented The Circle. She was gifted & studious student, excelled all classes. She despises draconian rules imposed by The Circle & always spoke up against them. She doesn't get along with most Circle Mages. Once she graduated at the age of 21, she faked her own death, threw away her Haemonilus so she can never be tracked by The Circle & settled in Gloomfen since.
