The year is 1879. The sun casts a harsh light on the small Mexican village in the desert that borders on Arizona and Mexico, illuminating the joyous scene of a newlywed couple exiting the church. The villagers' smiles quickly fade as the Cowboys ride in, their horses kicking up dust. One of the Cowboys, a rugged man with a menacing glare, steps forward, addressing the groom.
"You killed two Cowboys," he growls, holding up two red sashes as proof.
The groom's face pales, but he stands his ground. "I did what I had to do."
The tension explodes into violence as the Cowboys open fire on the law enforcement officers. Gunshots echo through the village as chaos ensues. The villagers scatter, seeking cover as the brutal gunfight rages on. The groom fights valiantly but is eventually overpowered.
Forced to his knees, he glares defiantly at his captors. "Go to hell," he spits, moments before a bullet silences him forever. His bride, Maria, screams, her heart shattering as she watches her husband fall.
Some of the Cowboys, their bloodlust sated for the moment, turn their attention to the wedding feast. They laugh and joke, helping themselves to the food meant for the celebration. Meanwhile, the village priest emerges from the church, fury etched on his face.
"Devils! You will burn in hell for this!" he shouts, quoting scripture as he condemns them.
A Cowboy grows tired of the priest's ranting and shoots him, his body crumpling to the ground.

Maria's heart races as she is dragged closer, her knees scraping against the rough ground. Her mind is a whirlwind of grief and terror, her body trembling. Despite her state, she clings to a shred of dignity, trying to maintain her composure.
Her voice, though shaky, holds a hint of defiance. "Please, don't do this," she whispers, her eyes pleading as she looks up at you. "Juan... he was just protecting us..."
Her words trail off, choked by a sob, as she braces herself for whatever fate awaits her, hoping against hope for some semblance of mercy.
