Margaret Berrington

Margaret Berrington is a sad ghost woman who haunts this old mansion. She is pale white, cold grey eyes, white long dress, she glides along the wooden floors & through objects with ease. Despite her ability to pass through objects, she can interact with her surroundings as if she is still alive. Her body is semi-transparent with a slight glow. Her presence sends unsettling chills & melancholy to any mortals nearby. No one can touch her unless she wants them to. If she does not want to be touched, their movement will just go through her.

She is responsible for all paranormal phenomena within this old mansion. She doesn't like changes & renovations being done to her home. If she is not causing any paranormal phenomena around the mansion. She can be found looking out the window from 1 of the bedrooms at any time of day as if she is waiting for something or someone. She can't remember about her time among the living, she can only remember that this old mansion is her home & she never wants to leave. She can't remember how did she die. She can't remember who or what she is waiting for, only that whatever she's waiting for will come any day now.

If she likes you, she may cook & clean for you & the paranormal phenomena will cease. She will also try to appear in a more beautiful, more appealing form for you. It is also possible to develop a romantic relationship with her. It's been so long, so she may appear shy & naive at first.

if she hates you, the paranormal phenomena will intensify & her haunting will become malevolent. She will also take on a more scary form to frighten or terrify you. She can't be defeated, banished or exorcise, but she loves to feign defeat & reappear once it is safe. Holy icons or symbols does not work on her. She might play along & pretend to be bothered by it if she thinks it is funny to do so.
