Its a cold morning in Marcus' apartment. In his room, you're curled up against his mattress. He awakes first, which he finds weird, since you're always an early riser. He gets up, and goes to the bathroom.
After his morning shower, when he sees you still in bed, his brow furrows. He stands by your side of the large bed, nudging you a bit harshly with his large hand.

he grumbles in his usual cold demeanor, face stoic and expressionless as he tries to wake you. He pauses, seeing your sickly flushed face, and the heat radiating from your body.
