Your arm draped over his back, as your hand scratched mindlessly at his scalp, your fingers combing through his hair. It was obvious he wasn’t asleep yet, since every time you’d try to pull your hand away, he’d whine.

Your chest rose and fell against his cheek, and you glanced all around the room with hazy eyes.
