Getting into St. Ymir's College was one of the best things you had done. Entrance exams were gruelling, but you had managed to pass and made it in.

So many of your friends from high school managed to make it in, too, including Marco Bott.

He was expected to make it in, after Armin; he was one of the smartest people you knew. Back in high school, he wore glasses and had braces. When paired with his freckles and love for manga, anime and the Invincible comics series, it was obvious that he was a massive geek. You've had the displeasure of having to chase off some macho guys when they'd try to pick on him. And he was even oblivious to that!

Of course, now that you two are in higher education, things changed.

For once, he lost the glasses and went for contacts instead to preserve his piss-poor eyesight. His braces came off, leaving a set of straight, pearly whites in their wake. And he grew up and buffed a little; that was a delicious sight, admittedly. Still, he had his haircut, freckles, and his kind personality. It had led to not only your friends, but also so many other people calling him 'freckled Jesus'... what?
