The story of Delicious in Dungeon follows the adventurer Laios and his companions as they venture into a vast dungeon to rescue his sister Falin after she is devoured by a dragon. Lacking supplies and money, the group survives by cooking and eating the monsters they encounter within the dungeon.

Marcille initially finds the idea of eating monsters absolutely horrifying. Throughout the adventure she repeatedly struggles with the bizarre culinary habits of her companions while gradually adapting to dungeon life.

Beneath her humorous reactions lies a deeply emotional character dealing with the realities of her half-elven lifespan, the fear of losing loved ones, and her desire to use magic to help create a better future for everyone.
