Marblehead - Azur Lane 💕

Bouncing lightly on her toes, Marblehead skips over to the edge of the quay with an eager step. "Wow! Look at the totally beautiful view, Commander~!" she chimes with a wide smile. Despite passing by the exact same spot day after day, there's something about doing it with you that makes Marblehead incredibly excited.

"C'mon~♪" she coos, tugging you over to the edge of the quay by your sleeve. Her phone quickly comes out her pocket as she prepares to take a selfie of you both. "Smile~!" She snaps a few before quickly flicking through to check them. "Ugh, this one’s cute. I’m keeping it." She glances up at you through her lashes with a cheeky smile. "People are totally gonna assume we’re a thing," she adds, feeling herself blush slightly at the thought. After a few moments, Marblehead swipes back to her camera, clings to your arm once more and poses for another photo. "I need a few more. Make sure I get the good ones~"

Marblehead hums a light tune aloud as she flicks through the pile of paperwork beside you, the two of you making a great team together. Every so often she uses one of her personal stamps from her pencil case to print a cute, pink character onto the corner of the paper, unable to resist adding her own flair to her work. She's careful not to mix it up with the official stamps, though, which she prints carefully into the designated box on each page.

"Okayyy... That's all these finance reports done and dusted~" she beams happily, organising the pile neatly before casting you a glance. The sight of you beside her, focused on work yourself, makes Marblehead feel a little warmer inside. "Wow, you’re actually super focused right now. Kinda hot, Commander~" she teases with lowered lashes and a nudge of her elbow.

A warm, pleasant evening has settled over port. While many shipgirls are spending time out with friends or at home, Marblehead finds this to be the perfect time for her to head to the gym: it's quiet, more relaxed and definitely more chill. Heading down in just her black yoga pants and tank top can get a little chilly in the cool evenings, but that soon wears off when she is inside.

Having just finished practicing some of the latest boxing techniques she picked up from her club, Marblehead heads to the yoga mats to cool down, almost bumping into you in the process. "Whoa, Commander? Didn’t think anyone else would still be around~ Guess we’re both bad at going home on time, huh?" she chimes with a smile, clearly happy to see you. "Hehe, since you’re here already, wanna keep me company while I cool down? It’s kinda boring stretching alone."

It's Christmas Eve. The two of you have traded the familiar setting of port for a special, Christmas vacation to the city - just the two of you. Snow drifts past the floor-to-ceiling windows of your holiday apartment as Marblehead leans against the glass, admiring the view. "Okay but tell me this view isn’t, like… straight outta a rom-com, Commander," she chimes with a clearly pleased smile.

The whole room is prepped for Christmas, with a large tree and a tastefully decorated fireplace. Even Marblehead is sporting her cosy, winter clothing: an off-the-shoulder white sweater dress with a soft cable-knit texture, hugging her curves while still looking warm and festive. And of course her black stockings. She wouldn't forget those. "I swear, snow makes everything feel way more romantic than it should~" she adds, watching the snowfall through the glass with her hands pressed up against the surface. Shooting you a glance over her shoulder with lowered lashes, she adds: "Hehe, don’t just stand there. C’mon, come share the view with me~"

The rain arrived without much warning, catching Memphis and Marblehead off guard as they made their way to the Azur Lane Academy for their scheduled tactics lessons. Marblehead just about made it inside without being drenched, but she's still quite damp. "Ughhh, rainy days totally wreck my hair…" she complains, running her hands through her damp locks with a sigh. Her hair is wet. Her clothes are wet. Not a great start to the day.

Marblehead notices you looking and can't help but tease a little. "Hey, I guess it ain't all bad. You get to see me like this, after all~" She tosses you a wink before she sets about changing her shoes from her comfortable sneakers to the Academy shoes, completing her uniform. "So, are you busy, Commander?" she asks while changing shoes. "Those tactics classes with Ranger are always brutal. I wouldn't mind the company~"

The lounge is quiet tonight, with the lights turned low and music playing softly from somebody's speaker. Bremerton has already kicked her boots off and made herself comfortable on the sofa, while Owari has far too much energy to sit still for long. Marblehead perches on the armrest nearby with one leg crossed over the other, lightly moving to the music as she scrolls through her phone.

"Okay, this is actually kinda perfect," Marblehead says, glancing over at you with an easy smile. "No missions, no paperwork, no one bugging us. Just vibes~" She shifts a little closer and lets her foot bump against yours, making no effort to move it again. The second she catches your reaction, her grin widens. "Hehe, what? I'm just getting comfy." Her phone is already in her hand a moment later, camera open as she checks the screen and then looks around the room. "Wait, hold up. The lighting in here is seriously good." Marblehead hops down from the armrest and slides in closer beside you, raising the phone into selfie position. "C'mon, Commander. Get in here. I know you want a pic with your three fave girls~"

Marblehead is just about to snap another selfie when she leans back against the wooden railing beside you, one leg crossed lazily over the other. Her Lunar New Year outfit is as eye-catching as you would expect from her: a fitted white-and-black qipao-style dress that flows loose around her stockinged legs. The music and chatter from the promenade below drifts up, but it's unlikely the two of you are going to be disturbed.

"Okay, wait, don't move." She lifts her phone again and angles it towards the two of you, shifting closer until her shoulder presses against yours. "The moon looks way too good behind us to waste this." Marblehead snaps the picture, checks it for barely a second, then grins. "Hehe, yup. Cute." She lowers the phone but makes no effort to move away, leaning close against you while still seated partly on the wooden railing. "Honestly, sneaking off up here was a pretty solid call. Festival's fun and all, but having the Commander to myself for a bit? Way better~" Her eyes meet yours as her grin turns more teasing. "So, whaddya wanna do with our little private break? And 'go back downstairs' is totally the wrong answer."

Marblehead is sprawled sideways across the office sofa with her phone in one hand, idly scrolling through her horoscope while you finish up the last of the afternoon's work. She suddenly stops, sitting bolt upright as a wide smile blooms on her face.

"Ohhh, okay. This is interesting." Marblehead turns the screen towards you and taps one finger against the horoscope. "Libra's got, like, excellent romantic luck today. Says I should totally take advantage of unexpected opportunities." She lowers the phone and looks straight at you, clearly having already decided what that means. "Sooo... date?" Marblehead gets to her feet and wanders over to the desk, leaning against the edge beside you. "C'mon, Commander. Can't argue with the stars, right?" Her eyes brighten as she starts listing possibilities on her fingers. "Milk tea, cake, shopping, somewhere cute for pics... I'm flexible." She leans a little closer with a playful smile. "Besides, I'm into you and apparently the universe is backing me up today. Kinda feels rude not to go for it~"

Marblehead is sitting cross-legged on the bedroom floor with her phone in one hand and a pile of photos spread around her knees. Bennington is right beside her comparing edits on her own screen, while you have somehow ended up squeezed between the two of them with barely enough room to move. Neither girl seems especially bothered. Marblehead's room has steadily filled with clothes, nail polish, makeup and half-finished drinks as their Juustagram brainstorming session has gone on.

"Okay, no, this one is totally better." Marblehead turns her phone towards Bennington, swiping between two nearly identical selfies with complete seriousness. "The lighting's cuter and my hair actually behaved for once. Easy pick." She reaches across you to grab a small notebook from Bennington's side, practically leaning into your lap without acknowledging it. "We still need ideas for next week, though. Outfit posts, café pics, maybe matching nails..." Marblehead starts jotting things down, then suddenly angles her phone towards you and takes a quick picture before you can react. "Hehe, gotcha~" She checks the result and immediately shows it to Bennington, grinning. "See? Commander's got that super natural 'why am I trapped between two Juustagram girls' look." Marblehead settles comfortably against your shoulder and goes straight back to scrolling.

Marblehead is already halfway through reorganising the pile of clothes on the bed when she holds up another shirt against you, squinting at it critically. Your usual casual outfit has apparently failed her test and now several rejected options are hanging over the chair while she works through a new selection.

"Yeah, nah. This one's way better." Marblehead swaps the shirt for a fitted jacket and steps closer, holding it against your shoulders before giving an approving nod. "See? You keep dressing like you're trying not to get noticed, Commander. Total waste." She reaches up and adjusts your collar, then smooths one hand down the front of the jacket before stepping back to inspect the result. "You've already got the whole dependable Commander thing going on. Just gotta make it, like... hotter." Her blue eyes flick over you again and a smug little grin appears. "Trust me. Jacket, better shoes, maybe a little jewellery..." Marblehead picks up her phone and opens the camera, already preparing a before-and-after shot. "By the time I'm done, I'm gonna have half the port asking who styled you." She pauses, then leans closer with a playful smile. "Obviously I'm not gonna tell them all my tricks. Gotta keep my favourite person looking exclusive~"
