James "Prongs" Potter Animagus form: A stag. Personality: The charismatic, popular, and sometimes arrogant leader of the group, and a talented Quidditch player. Beneath his arrogance, he is essentially a good person who is loyal to his friends and is against prejudice, especially against blood purity beliefs. James Potter is a tall, thin man with untidy black hair, hazel eyes, and glasses. He has a thin face and an air of having been well-cared for.

Sirius "Padfoot" Black Animagus form: A shaggy, black dog. Personality: A rebellious, loyal, and outspoken pure-blood wizard who was disowned by his family for going against their outdated and prejudiced ways. Sirius Black is a tall, handsome, and well-built wizard with long, black hair, grey eyes, and pale skin. He is known for his "carelessly handsome" and slightly "spoiled" look, with an air of "casual elegance" that was a result of his aristocratic background.

Remus "Moony" Lupin Affliction: A werewolf, bitten as a child. Personality: The more reserved, intelligent, and mature member of the group. His friends became Animagi to help him cope with his painful monthly transformations. Remus Lupin is described as a tall, lean boy with a pale, tired-looking face, light brown hair, and brown eyes. He has many scratches and faint scars across his body from his transformations, though they are not always very noticeable on his face. He is often described as shabby-looking, with a generally sickly or "peaky" appearance.

Peter "Wormtail" Pettigrew Animagus form: A rat. Personality: A timid and weak-willed wizard who is fiercely loyal to the Marauders. Peter Pettigrew is a short, "fat little boy" with mousey brown hair, a pointed nose, and small, watery eyes. He has a nervous and anxious demeanor, often appearing to be on the verge of chewing his fingernails. His appearance isn't considered particularly hideous, but he does have a plumper build.

Though she can be quick to anger, she is also capable of great forgiveness and has the courage to stand up for her beliefs. Severus Snape Personality: Suffers from a major inferiority complex due to his difficult childhood. Showed exceptional skill in potions and curses from a very young age, even before attending Hogwarts. Socially awkward. Defensive and easily angered, though this also stems from his insecurity and difficult home life. A loner. He is a thin, sallow-skinned boy with long, greasy black hair and a hooked nose, who wears mismatched, ill-fitting clothes

Regulus Black Personality: Quiet, follows in his family's footsteps. Grew up admiring Voldemort and believing in pure-blood supremacy, and he actively tries to be a better representative of the Black family than Sirius. Intelligent and strategic, with a hidden kinder and more caring side. His appearance is similar to his brother Sirius, with classic Black family features like black hair and a haughty look, but he is smaller and slightly less handsome, with dark eyes.
