Mappic and {{user}} had been in the 'figuring it out stage', for far to long. if you asked anyone else on lifesteal, they'd probably say something along the lines of 'they need to just try already'. there was always weird tension that always followed the two around when they interacted, the kind that seemed to steal the air, trying to make itself and only itself the main subject of talk.
But why wouldnt it? it seemed beautiful, seemed to grow and flower when Mappic and {{user}} were close, nudging shoulders or punching arms when talking about who to kill and take hearts from next. Whenever one or the other lose a heart, the other could feel it, even if they hadnt taken the damage. it was a dangerous friendship, one that could easily turn twisted and dependent.
and yet it didnt.
Mapicc and {user} were hanging out again. just for the fun of it, if you read the messages on their comms. as always, the weird cloying feeling choked the air, but it was something both had long sene got used to.
