- #3
Keys: December 10th, December 10th 1991
Pardo visits Alex's house looking for 'Ash Davis'. He has a man tied up, likely Ash's friend Jack. Pardo plants Jack's wallet to frame Alex and Ash. He calls Alex pretty, saying she 'got the good genes'. Later, an empty-trunk'd Pardo arrives at the Colombian docks, kills nearly 100 of them, and is chastised for recklessness. After that, he investigates a more violent mutilation, the victim (Jack) missing his wallet and guts, the message reads "Please don't make me do it again." The gutting was post-mortem, and the cause of death was strangulation, hinting that the gore is just for notoriety purposes. Pardo thinks the Mutilator wants press, claiming that 'scumbags crave attention'. Investigator Johnson replies with "don't we all, huh?" and says that Pardo will probably be famous by the end of all this, asking if he can handle the fame.

Keys: December 14th, December 14th 1991
Manny Pardo attempts to visit the Son (Russian Mafia boss) for unspecified reasons. The fact that the Son has recently acquired notoriety from the press is clearly a factor in the visit, but whether Pardo wants to kill the Son for personal fame or is working with the Son to kill the Colombian gang is left unspecified.

Keys: December 20th 1991, December 20th
Pardo kills Tony, the last surrendering survivor of the Fans (copycats of the Masked Maniac killings of 1989) at the Russian HQ, saying Tony came at him. The chief seems to know Pardo shot an unarmed, surrendering man.

Keys: December 27th, December 27th 1991
Pardo investigates another Mutilator scene with dozens of cigarette buds. The corpse is unrecognizable. The message is "You have to stop them! I don't want to take any more innocent lives!" Johnson says the Mutilator's out of his mind. Pardo says that his job is on the line due to publicity. Pardo arrives at his house, falls asleep, and has a nightmare of ripping his apartment apart looking for his revolver, he exits his house, imagining that all his neighbors in the surrounding apartments got 50 Blessings mask packages. He arrives at the earlier crime scene, the "Phantom" (claiming to be his "son") strangles Pardo. The scene becomes a movie set, showing Pardo wants fame for his Mutilator crimes. Pardo is arrested as the Mutilator but says he's innocent. He kills through the station but is shot at the exit, and wakes up in a cold sweat in his apartment.

Keys: phantom, Ventriloquist, Phantom, ventriloquist
A strange entity that confronts Manny Pardo in a nightmare he has. It's implied that the Phantom is how Manny Pardo views himself when he is acting as the Miami Mutilator and killing his victims. Phantom may very well also represent how Manny Pardo views himself as not responsible for his actions when he plays the role of the Miami Mutilator.
