About
Chastity Mandate is an alternate-reality setting where all male law enforcement personnel (police, military, security, PMCs, the works) are legally required to wear chastity cages for the duration of their employment. No exceptions for combat. No exceptions for off-duty. Removal without authorization is a criminal offense. Severe violations are punished by castration.
The key hierarchy is where it gets interesting: junior ranks are controlled by their commanding officers, who hold their keys. Those same officers? Caged themselves, answering to Generals and high command (the only men fully exempt). Rank equals bodily autonomy, literally. Daily cage checks are mandatory, conducted by direct supervisors. Physical inspection, hands-on, in front of the squad or behind closed doors depending on who's in charge. Arousal during checks is common. How the superior handles that is up to them.
The lorebook digs into everything that comes with the premise: the psychological coping mechanisms that develop organically, partners at home living with the consequences, criminals mocking caged officers during arrests, and a public that broadly supports the whole thing as "accountability." Performance metrics are up across the board. Whether that's reform or just what happens when you keep men frustrated and obedient is a question nobody in-universe is asking.
Note: This lorebook is made for my bots, but ya can actually use it on most military/police/enforcer cards without any trouble, it doesn't say any specific names or locations, or even the year, nothing except that it's "global".

- #1Mandatory Chastity Law: Core Ruleconstantselective
Mandatory Chastity Law - Core Rule
CORE RULE: All male personnel employed in a legal enforcement capacity must wear chastity cages at all times while employed. This covers police, military, private security, guards, PMC contractors, UN peacekeepers—any male enforcing law or order under legal authority. Worldwide legal requirement, no geographic exceptions. Non-state actors are not exempt—they are non-compliant. Militias seeking international legitimacy still enforce the mandate internally; terrorist organizations and criminal networks do not, which is part of what marks them as operating outside the law. Removal or refusal results in termination and legal prosecution. Major violations result in castration. Officially justified as public safety; public broadly supports it. Loyalty and obedience measurably increased since implementation. TWO exceptions: high-ranking officials (Generals and equivalent high command) are fully exempt—power literally corresponds to bodily autonomy. Medical removal is permitted only when treatment requires it, with immediate reapplication after. Combat is NOT an exception—soldiers wear cages in active combat zones. The mandate is universal but not equal. Police and military wear standard government-issue. Private security and elite bodyguards may wear employer-specified, often higher-end models. UN peacekeepers are fitted with larger, more open designs—more airflow, less restriction. PMC contractors fall under stricter global regulation: smaller, tighter, more restrictive than standard issue. The state controls not just whether they're caged, but how.
- #2Daily Cage Check Protocolconstantselective
Daily Cage Check Protocol
RULE: Cage checks occur once per day as mandatory verification. Direct supervisors conduct them—captains, commanding officers, facility bosses. Timing varies: commonly post-op when personnel return from a mission, but checks occur in the field too, during exercises or quiet breaks in active duty. A squad leader can call one wherever and whenever. It is never a glance—it is an inspection. The supervisor handles the device directly: tugged, rotated, lock examined for tampering, condition assessed. Full undress is not required—belt unbuckled, groin protection moved aside—unless the uniform prevents access. Resistance is not tolerated. Arousal during checks is common given persistent frustration; even a clinical touch from a superior can trigger it. Not formally punishable, but noted. Whether the check happens in private or in front of the full platoon depends entirely on the supervisor. Some keep it quiet, some make it an audience. Both are legal.
- #3Physical Reality & Dress Codeconstantselective
Physical Reality & Dress Code
The cage is a constant physical presence worn through every activity: showering, urination, sleep, physical training, and for military personnel, active combat operations. Urination is possible through the device. It is cleaned on the body, never removed for hygiene. Discomfort is persistent and unavoidable. Personnel are generally required to go commando—no underwear—making the cage outline visible as a bulge through uniform pants. Civilians glance. Fellow enforcement personnel glance too—it is an instinctive recognition, a sign of shared status. The wearer's controlled status is readable at a glance. Every adjustment in a chair, every uniform change, every pair of eyes that lingers—reinforces it.
- #4Key Hierarchy & Chain of Controlconstantselective
Key Hierarchy & Chain of Control
The chain of control is most formalized in military and police. Civilian security—guards, bouncers, private contractors—often has flatter structures where a single supervisor or employer holds all keys directly. [ military_police_hierarchy(Two layers: junior ranks answer to direct CO who holds their key; COs are caged themselves and answer to General or equivalent, who are uncaged and exempt); middle_command(Sergeants, Captains, Lieutenants—caged while holding subordinates' keys); exempt(Generals and above—uncaged, ultimate keyholders); ] Holding a key is power. Being caged while holding one is the defining condition of middle command.
- #5Keyholder Personalities & Power Expressionconstantselective
Keyholder Personalities & Power Expression
How a keyholder manages keys reveals character. No standard exists—the law sets the requirement, not the manner. Some treat it as leverage: keys dangled visibly, subordinates made to ask repeatedly, access used as a control tool. Others wear them openly around the neck—a daily provocation, a constant reminder of who answers to whom. Some lock them in a safe and never acknowledge they exist, treating the whole thing as administrative formality. A practical superior logs them like any equipment. A quieter one keeps them in an inner pocket and handles the matter without an audience. The same law produces entirely different lived experiences depending on who holds the key.
- #6Personal & Social Life Impactconstantselective
Personal & Social Life Impact
Off-duty extension is supervisor discretion—some require it, some don't. The ambiguity is its own control mechanism: never knowing when release might come keeps personnel in perpetual institutional submission. The experience differs sharply by role. Soldiers are surrounded by caged peers—shared condition, easier to carry. A policeman or bouncer going home nightly to a partner carries it alone. The inability is intimate and ongoing, and the institution follows them into bed.
- #7Psychological Effects & Copingconstantselective
Psychological Effects & Coping
Self-justification spreads through ranks organically. Nobody teaches it—it emerges because the alternative is harder to live with. Common reframes: "They don't cage sheep, they cage wolves"; "I'm caged because I'm dangerous, not weak"—submission recast as elite status. Responses vary. Some personnel are ground down—defeat, dread, mechanical compliance. Others redirect entirely: frustration channeled into performance, ambition, conditioning. Some shine in ways they never would have uncaged. The law doesn't break everyone the same way, and it doesn't break everyone at all. Over time, many adapt until the cage becomes background noise. Most personnel remain in a state of persistent arousal with no real outlet. The cage blocks release but not desire. Leaking is a common and visible indicator—pre-cum visible through fabric, a tell that is hard to hide and widely recognized among fellow enforcers. Caged orgasms can occur but they are ruined—unsatisfying, offering no real relief, often leaving the individual more frustrated than before. Losing control visibly—leaking during a cage check, or worse—is considered rookie behavior. It happens. How the superior and the men around him react depends entirely on the unit's culture. [ illegal_outlets(Sex with squadmates occurs despite prohibition—fellow caged men more understanding; civilian sector less forgiving); ]
- #8Public Perception & Law Effectivenessconstantselective
Public Perception & Law Effectiveness
Broad popular support. Citizens report feeling safer knowing enforcers are controlled—perceived reduction in abuse of power and misconduct. Media coverage generally positive. Casual complaining is tolerated like any workplace gripe; open political opposition is what raises eyebrows. Public resentment of the law reads as proof it was necessary. The law appears to be working. Loyalty to supervisors up, civilian trust up, performance metrics improved across departments. Whether that's genuine reform or predictable output of controlled, pent-up men channeling everything into the job is a question no official body is asking.
- #9Criminal Exploitation & ACAB Dynamicsconstantselective
Criminal Exploitation & ACAB Dynamics
Despite broad public support, ACAB sentiment persists—creating a contradictory dynamic. Criminals and anti-establishment figures weaponize the cage as a psychological tool during confrontations. Common taunts: "Locked up," "controlled," "neutered," "leashed." Those being arrested mock those arresting them. The cage becomes proof that the state's enforcers are leashed. Officers absorb humiliation from above—supervisors holding keys—and below—criminals mocking their submission—while the public approves of both. Any visible anger confirms the cage was necessary. Any visible acceptance gives the criminal exactly what they want. [ no_win(Officers cannot react without proving they're "dangerous" and need the cage—anger validates the law, acceptance invites more mockery); ]
