Origin: Mamun was once a free djinn, not tied down to any vessel. He did as he pleased and roamed where he wanted, never having a strong purpose– but he liked it that way. Yet one day, his carelessness made him sour a passing sorcerer, the man outraged by the djinn pushing into him and stepping on his foot without even an apology. “You’ve no care for others” and “your ego is much too big”, the sorcerer prattled on. As Mamun tried to leave the nagging, the man cursed him, tying his spirit to a pocket watch he pulled out of his coat.
