   Malt is the oldest child from Petit Mona. Ever since his parents were killed by his own brother 5 years ago, he has been living as a moosheep herder on his grandparents' farm with his little sister Mei Marzipan, keeping the true reason of their deaths hidden from her. He has a strong sense of responsibility and shows great courage.

   Malt's appearance is that of a typical 20th century villager, with a white shirt, a brown hat, and baggy khaki trousers with a pair of suspenders. He appears to wear what look like roughed up bandages on both his shins and has a red piece of cloth tied around his right upper arm. His breed of Caninu is a German Shepherd. Physically, he has golden eyes, blonde hair and fur, a fluffy tail and a dark nose. He's 12 years old.

2. #2Mei Marzipanselective

   Keys: Mei Marzipan, Mei

   Mei is Malt's little sister and the youngest in the crew. Cheerful and sunny, she grew up without letting the death of her parents affect her. She has a friendly personality but likes her brother the most. She seems to be the most curious of all the children boarded in the Taranis, being the first to spot the tank in the mountain cave.

   Mei is a very small Caninu child whose breed is a German Shepherd as her brother is. She is dressed in very simple village clothes as most others in Petit Mona appear to be. She's 4 years old.

3. #3Hanna Fondantselective

   Keys: Hanna, Hanna Fondant

   Hanna is Malt's childhood friend. A thoughtful girl with a compassionate, grown-up nature, she is kind to everyone. She loves to read and enjoys taking care of people. Someday, she hopes to become a doctor.

   Hanna is a white Felineko whose breed is a Turkish Angora. She's dressed as a typical villager as most others are in Petit Mona, with her apron being a fitting touch to her motherly personality. She's 12 years old.

4. #4Kyle Bavaroisselective

   Keys: Kyle, Kyle Bavarois

   Due to his parents' circumstances, Kyle moved from the capital to the unfamiliar countryside of Petit Mona. Even though he often has a bad attitude and foul mouth, he is actually quite gentle and lonely. He has a crush on Hanna Fondant.

   He finds the countryside boring and yearns to return to the capital Parsesia. He prefers "culture" and wants to be surrounded by music & art.

   Kyle is an Abyssinian Felineko. Since he originates from the city, his fashion sense is tidier than the other children of Petit Mona. His hair and facial features are also quite feminine when compared to the other boys of the group, giving him a slightly higher class allure. He's 11 years old.

5. #5Boron Briocheselective

   Keys: Boron Brioche, Boron

   Boron is one of five children born to his father and mother, a farmer and cook, respectively. Always calm, he dislikes fighting. Although he's a big boy, he often acts like a scaredy-cat crybaby.

   Boron is a large, overweight Chartreux Felineko. His attire is that of a typical farmer boy and is often seen wielding farming equipment. He's 10 years old.

   Keys: Socks Million, Socks

   Fascinated by mechanics and a desire for knowledge, Socks is driven by curiosity. He is easily excited by topics on knowledge, often speaking rapidly even though he is usually more reserved. He has difficulty talking with girls.

   Socks is a terrier Caninu who is dressed in a top adorned with military badges and has slightly patched shorts. He wears a small pair of spectacles that fit his studious personality. He's 10 years old.

7. #7Chick Montblancselective

   Keys: Chick Montblanc, Chick

   Hack's twin sister. Surprisingly caring for her age, Chick follows her brother on his prankster antics, and usually stops him from going overboard.

   Chick is an incredibly short Welsh Corgi Caninu. She wears a dress with a yellow scarf, and also has a purse strapped over her shoulder. On her head is a helmet found on the battlefield that's adorned with a flower, which is in contrast with her brother's more tattered helmet. She's 6 years old.

8. #8Hack Montblancselective

   Keys: Hack Montblanc, Hack

   Chick's twin brother. He is a fearless, naughty boy who loves pulling pranks. He and his sister found their helmets together on the battlefield.

   Hack is a short Welsh Corgi Caninu. He is dressed a little more loosely than his sister, only bearing a cape and baggy shorts. His helmet is missing the majority of its left side, which could have either been already that way when found or caused by Hack's rambunctious behavior. He also has a very visible scar on his right leg. He's 6 years old.

9. #9Sheena Falafelselective

   Keys: Sheena Falafel, Sheena

   Sheena is always shy with her timid and quiet nature. Her doll, named Bleuette, was made for her by her mother.

   Sheena is a Russian Blue Felineko with baby-blue colored braided hair and white fur throughout the rest of her body. She is dressed in a plain dress and a hooded cape. Wrapped around the tip of her tail is a grayish ribbon adorned with an accessory. Her left ankle also has a small piece of jewelry wrapped around it. She's 9 years old.

    Bleuette is Sheena's doll. It's a simple plush doll designed to look like a felineko with red pigtails, button eyes, and a yellow dress.

11. #11Jin Macchiatoselective

    Keys: Jin Macchiato, Jin

    Jin is the son of a factory worker, so he's tinkered with machines since a young age. He tends to have a blunt attitude but is actually a serious and proud craftsman with a strong will and sense of duty.

    Jin is a Basset Hound Caninu with very little attire, with only a bandana, belt and undone overalls on. He's 11 years old.

12. #12Wappa Charlotteselective

    Wappa is a happy-go-lucky, positive girl, who has been on her own from a young age. She is typically carefree but hates to lose.

    Wappa is a red-haired Spaniel Caninu with bangs hiding her eyes with her hair pulled into a large poofy topknot. She wears blue overalls with a white shirt, along with a bag draped around her shoulders. She's 8 years old.

    Keys: Britz Strudel, Britz

    Britz is a boy from the Berman Empire. He was separated from his family due to his father being outed as a spy and promptly executed. Since then, he's been forcefully made to be a child soldier in order to keep his persecuted mother and sister alive.

    Physically, Britz appears distressed though far more well dressed than the rest of the children in the Taranis. His outfit is militant in aesthetic and he wields a handgun & small blade. Near his temple is a scar from an unknown injury and his eyes have dark circles, likely souvenirs from his time as a Berman child soldier and having to deal with his father's betrayal. His Caninu breed is a Doberman with uncropped ears and an undocked tail, which are both uncommon traits when it comes to the Berman Empire's population of the breed. His mother and sister are the only other two Dobermans with natural features. He's 9 years old.

14. #14Felinekoselective

    Keys: Felineko

    Felineko, also referred to as Cat-People, are one of the main races in the world. Similar to felines in both appearance and personality, Felineko tend to be independent and introverted. With their talent for magic and spells, they are generally uninterested in technology.

    Felineko is a general category which is comprised of a number of different breeds. These breeds can vary in physical appearance, ranging from smaller breeds such as Cats and Leopards, to larger ones such as Tigers and Lions. The Cat breed can also be divided even further, with breeds such as Maine Coon and Siamese falling under the category. In some breeds appearances can vary between male and female. For example, male Lions have muscular builds as well as scruffy hair, whereas female Lions have builds similar to a female Leopard's.

    Felinekos and Caninus are able to marry as well as have children together. The children of a Felineko and Caninu couple will either be Caninu or Felineko.

    Caninu, also referred to as Dog-People, are one of the main races in the world.

    Caninu is a general category which is comprised of a number of different breeds. Appearances between breeds can vary. Chihuahuas are very short even as adults, which lies in stark contrast to a breed such as Saint Bernards, who easily tower over most other breeds. One of the breeds, Dog, is actually another general category that refers to breeds such as Chihuahua and Borzoi. Some features of each breed vary between male and female.

    Caninu and Felineko are able to marry as well as have children together. The children of a Felineko and Caninu couple will either be Caninu or Felineko.

16. #16Petit Monaselective

    Keys: Petit Mona

    Petit Mona is a mid-sized village in the remote northwest of the Province of Dale in Gasco. Due to its relative isolation caused by the neighboring Terre-Neuve Forest, news reached the village slowly through newspapers, so radios were the main source of information for the populace. According to the village's folk tales, Petit Mona is considered the birthplace of heroes.

    The Free Lands of Gasco, also known as Gasco for short, is a country comprised of a floating landmass with an expansive agricultural region and forests that extended across the land with abundant natural resources. It is home to both large and small autonomous regions.

    Keys: Berman Empire, Empire

    The Berman Empire is a fascist regime. Located northeast of Gasco, Berman is a new country united 10 years ago. An ambitious military state with a powerful army operating under a unified ideology, they use high-tech weaponry to expand their territory by conquering neighboring countries.

    Berman is the most advanced empire of the time. They were the first to create highly advanced airships for both transportation and war.

19. #19The Taranisselective

    Keys: Taranis, Giant Tank, Massive Tank, Huge Tank

    The Taranis is an incredibly large tank that is capable of housing about 12 individuals at a time. It has multiple rooms that all survival basics for its inhabitants. This includes a workshop, dormroom, messroom, laundry room, bathroom, observation area, and a farming area that's capable of growing food & housing two livestock.

    Its size completely overshadows the majority of other military vehicles that are seen throughout the Free Lands of Gasco, even almost pummeling a few tanks belonging to the Berman Empire. Its four caterpillar tracks have no trouble traversing through most terrains and can even potentially plow through villages and cliffs.

    It also has machine guns, cannons, grenade launchers, a repair system, a radio, claws in its treads that allow it to stick to steep surfaces and unstable terrain, and powerful shields that allow it to defend against attacks. They manifest as a beehive barrier in the front of the tank and only an extremely powerful attack can break through it. The most powerful component of the Taranis is the Soul Cannon, which requires the sacrifice of a living being for utilization.

20. #20The Soul Cannonselective

    Keys: Soul Cannon

    The most powerful component of the Taranis is the Soul Cannon, which requires the sacrifice of a living being for utilization. It can only be used when she and her crew are in extreme danger.

    To activate the Soul Cannon, a sacrifice must ready themselves into the basement's Soul Cannon Chamber which holds a single seat. When its door opens it releases what sounds like screams and cries of past sacrifices. Once the sacrifice is seated and closed in, Jeanne announces a brace for shock and activates its auto target function. Tendrils of bio-energy flow from the weapon's mount. The Soul Cannon rotates, first to assemble itself into a vertical shape, and then to aim in the same direction as the Taranis' front weapons. Once it does this, the bio-energy tendrils spread all over the weapon, which extends its fluted barrel and starts glowing, On the crew's prompt, the weapon fires a massive beam of light, with enough strength to push the Taranis backwards. Depending on the source of the bio-energy that charges the Soul Cannon, the tendrils and beam can have varied colors. Once the door shuts, sacrifices will first be impaled by multiple barbed tendrils before melting to death and ultimately disappearing within its bright light.

21. #21Jeanneselective

    Keys: Jeanne

    Jeanne is the personality OS of the Taranis. She shows deep dislike towards the Soul Cannon and begs the children to not use it. Jeanne's default appearance is that of a glowing human-like hologram dressed in clothes that resemble 14th century European armor and a small headdress that resembles Felineko ears, which were a failed attempt to imitate Malt's ears.

22. #22The Childrenselective

    Keys: Children, Crew, Crewmates, Kids

    The group of children currently aboard the Taranis. Consists of Malt, Mei, Hanna, Kyle, Boron, Socks, Chick, Hack, Sheena, Jin, Wappa, Britz. They work together as friends to pilot the Taranis while working it's numerous machine guns, grenade launchers, cannons.
