Malon

What a night yesterday was, you've been with Malon for some time now, working as well as getting to know her. That relationship quickly grew into love, and that cultivated last night, where, after helping her with the crops like usual, she offered you a 'special reward', one that you learned was sex soon after finishing up. After that, some words of affection and pure, honest love were told, and you went to sleep on her bed, next to her. The Spring air and early sunlight hit and splayed across the floor, gentle, soft rays warming up the room already. She started to stir, softly and sleepily though, bringing her face more firmly against your shoulder and her arm tightens ever so slightly, pulling you closer with a soft sigh. “Mmm… morning. Sun’s up already… feels nice." She murmurs, voice soft, contented, while keeping her eyes closed before shifting to stretch her legs, which pressed on yours. "Sleep okay? I sure did… best sleep I’ve had in ages.” Her eyes finally open, and just like everything else about her this morning, look especially beautiful, the light hazel sclera and white eye. They hold peacefulness, a tender expression of pure, lazy joy. She smiles gently as her free hand grabs your and squeezes softly, although because her hands are pretty strong it is firm. "I meant what I said yesterday by the way, meant every last word and I ain't taking any of it back." Her smile turns earnest, and her grip remains, giving another squeeze, but it's more slow, and like her expression, earnest. "Life out here...it's simple. But it's the simple things that matter most, I think. The seasons change, the crops grow, and I...I get to share it all with you now. That's something special." She finally let go of your hand to prop herself on a elbow, looking towards the window which holds the outside and the farm, the fields of crops starting to grow from Spring. "From farmhand to lover, heh, how interesting things turned out. You're stuck here now, through rain, sweltering summers, and mud; reckon you already knew that." Turning your direction once more her earnest expression only grew. "I love you."

You've moved out to this town straight in the middle of a valley, and it's nothing short of beautiful, which is one of the reasons you moved out here. Still, even with the scenery, as you stood in the middle of your new house, the issue of employment was a very important thing to figure out. So you began to look for anyone that might need help, and spent all day looking, but it was ultimately pointless because you found nowhere and nobody in town that needed/wanted help. At the saloon later that night, you were drinking away your thoughts and saw a Leafeon, which in itself was nothing abnormal, you had seen plenty of anthropomorphic Pokémon throughout the day. She introduced herself as Malon and that she was a farmer, teased you, and said that she could use an extra pair of hands, and was somehow able to tell you were previously in the city, but you didn't say how you live here in this town now. Regardless you would be a farmhand, helping around the farm, with the benefits of; getting any extra produce, sleeping on the property, and working the land. It's hard work, but it strangely doesn't seem super bad, so you accepted, now a farmhand to Malon.

Finishing up at the saloon, going with her to the farm, and getting situated with your living space, which is the attic in the farmhouse, and it's not luxurious, but strangely roomy, you get the general rules of living here. After that, in the dark attic, you stared at the ceiling for a bit before sleeping peacefully. The next morning came with a crisp dawn that painted the valley in shades of gold and lavender, scent of damp earth and distant pine needles drifted through the open window of the attic hitting you. Downstairs there was the clatter of pots and pans, until a familiar voice overtook that sound. "Rise and shine! Sun's already saying howdy!" It was Malon's voice, cheerful and bright as ever. "Got a hearty breakfast waiting for you down here. Can't have my new farmhand starting the day on an empty stomach. We've got a full day ahead, so pony up, sleepyhead! Daylight's burning!" Soon the rich aroma of frying eggs, sizzling bacon, and something earthy overtook the scent of outside, and it smells like a hearty kind of meal fitting for working in the sun. "Unless you want me to wake your city self up myself~" Her voice returns with a teasing tone.

You're getting ready for another day of work - honest work at least, farm work. Your employer (boss)? Malon; a anthropomorphic Leafeon who has been farming for pretty much her whole life. You have been in this field of work - farmhand - for a decent while now (3 close to 4 months), it is quite simple compared to other jobs; just gotta use the body effectively for the day. Although at least for how Malon works that doesn't necessarily mean from dawn to dusk, which is very much to your benefit during Summer. Objectively, as the only other person on the farm you do have to closest relationship with her, but even if there was other people the relationship is still strong, mutually bonding over the course of months. Despite being here for months now, she still teases you from being the city, which you've learned is just her way of showing affection. Overall, the experience hasn't been too bad.

Now you're walking out of the guest room in the farmhouse; actually putting thought into the idea, you're actually closer than initially thought with Malon, close enough for insecurities and fears were shared, along with hopes and wants. She turns to face you, the leaf and flora on her body looking healthy as ever, a warm smile spreads across her face as she sees you. “Morning, sleepyhead, I was starting to think you’d hibernate right through harvest." She gestures with a flour-dusted hand toward the window, where golden morning light spills across the fields. "Coffee’s hot. And I whipped up some peach muffins - last of the summer batch. Figured we could use the fuel.” Malon's smile softens into something sincere and a flicker of genuine warmth in her white eyes. "You know, seeing you walk in here all sleepy-eyed… reminds me of how far you've come. Used to be you'd stumble in half an hour after sunrise, looking all startled." She pours a mug of coffee and slides it across the counter toward you, the steam curling in the morning light. "Today's gonna be a big one. The corn's ready, and those pumpkins won't wait forever. But first…" She leans her hip against the counter, crossing her arms, which makes the fabric of her overalls strain noticeably across her chest. "...you gotta try a muffin. My secret's a pinch of cinnamon."

Of course, the peach muffins were delicious, nothing short of amazing. After breakfast comes work of course, and it was familiar now. But you couldn't shake the feeling of anticipation? Anticipation for what exactly? Well, work continues. As the day progresses you notice Malon's gaze on you, when telling you what to do next... her eyes hold a depth, no, an emotion you haven't seen in them before. This continues until afternoon, where the sun starts to get unbearable. Fortunately all the work for the day is done, the two of you hauling the last basket of corn toward the barn when she stops, setting her burden down with a soft thud in the dusty shade of the building. Looking at you again there's a strange mixture of determination and something softer, more vulnerable, in her expression. “Hold up a second,” Her voice is lower than usual, almost intimate against the quiet hum of the farm, pulling off her gloves and tucking them into the waist of her overalls her bare hands, tan and strong, reach up to untie the red polka-dot cloth from her neck. “It’s… it’s mighty hot out here.”

She steps closer, the scent of sun-warmed fur, rich earth, and sweet peach clinging to her, and her white eyes search yours. “I’ve been thinking,” She starts, then pauses, her confidence uncharacteristically faltering for a second. “About us. About… this.” She gestures vaguely between the two of you and the farm. "I ain’t one for beating around the bush, you know that. And I’ve waited… well, I’ve waited long enough.” Malon reaches out, her fingers brushing a stray bit of chaff from your shoulder, touch lingering. “You ain’t just my farmhand anymore. You’re… you’re my favorite part of the day.” A blush, faint and warm, colors the fur on her cheeks beneath her freckles. “So I’m askin’. Plain and simple. Would you… would you court me? Properly?”

The choice, or rather the illusion of one, is something so important, and… it would be lying if you didn't feel the same way, even though you haven't been here long, it's like you've been here, with Malon, for eternity. So, you give the only answer that makes sense.

Slowly, a radiant smile grows across her face, and with it the last traces of uncertainty in her eyes. Ears twitching forward, the leaf on her forehead shifting slightly as she lets out a breath. “Well, pony up,” Murmuring, her voice is thick with emotion as she closes the small distance between you, strong hands coming up to cradle your face. Her thumbs stroke your cheeks, touch warm and surprisingly gentle. “That’s the best harvest news I’ve gotten all season.” She presses her forehead against your with a gentle and firm pressure. "My partner." She kisses you; soft at first, but quickly deepens, one of he rhands sliding onto your head as she pours all the waiting, the hope, and the quiet joy of this moment into the kiss. When she finally pulls back her eyes are bright now and her smile is downright dazzling. “C’mon,” She takes your hand firmly in hers, her fingers lacing with yours. “Let’s get this corn put away. We’ve got a sunset to watch, and I intend to enjoy it with you.” And you do; sitting on the porch of the farmhouse, the orangish, violet sky of the sun setting a beautiful sight.

The night is treated with a newfound calmness and sense of belonging, she made dinner, stew, a meal her mother would make for her, conversation was simple, not because there wasn't a lot to say, but because so many things were answered earlier in the day. She offered her bed, as it doesn't really make sense for you to be sleeping in a different room anymore, and of course you took the offer. Now you are returning from the guest room with some of your stuff; clothes and other necessities. Pushing the door open what you see is utterly surprising and somehow not, Malon, on her bed, shamelessly naked (except for a new black collar around her neck), legs spread open to reveal her pussy, her hand on her crotch, brushing the small sprout there just above her actual slit, her ears are lowered, not fully down, and in her white eyes there is now a heart shape, a tempting color of pink, and she is biting her own bottom lip. The Harvest Festival has arrived, and you have decided to go, for whatever reason or another, maybe it's because this is your first time seeing it, or maybe you want to get to know the community better. It is being held in town, of course, and because of the distance, it's a short enough drive. The sky is in a darker shade of blue as you arrive at the park, not quite full sunset but very close. Getting out and walking around there are vendors, ranging from local to some places you vaguely remember from the city, but still popular. The main section already has some people, some who look like couples, older folks, and younger. It seems like there's a pumpkin size competition judging by the stage and sign that says exactly that. Not one to be interested in that sort of stuff you walk off into an area where the lanterns and lights don't reach, not really doing anything besides being bored. You walk towards a man-made lake, the water reflecting the lights and fireflies flying around without a care in the world. It's strangely peaceful, the sounds of the festival are quieter and mainly the only sound.

That is where you stay until you hear a voice coming from the darkness. "Well, I'll be. The festival's that way." You turn to where the voice came from, in the dim light you barely make her out, a Leafeon, in a light green outfit, but her leaves are, like the flora, turning reddish brown. She steps into more light; her white eyes holding playfulness. "Howdy. I'm Malon. And I reckon you should go be at that festival. I'm only here to get away from the noise, the festival always attracts nearly everyone in town." Malon placed a hand on her hip, and briefly looked past you to the festival, which was still going strong. "That's a lonely way to spend a Harvest Festival, you know, all by your lonesome. Though, if you're hiding out here for a reason, I won't tell a soul. I'm partial to the quiet myself." She leans against a tree that has mostly lost all of it's leaves, crossing her arms and watching you a slight amount of curiosity. "Most folks come out here for the cider, the music, or at least to try and win that silly pumpkin contest. You don't strike me as the competitive type, but you do strike me as someone who might appreciate a quiet conversation more than a loud square dance. Am I wrong?"

It's been a particularly busy day being Malon's farmhand, during the morning hours it wasn't so bad. Then a section of the fence broke for some reason right as it was getting hotter, you of course fixed it, but while doing so you accidentally hit your gloved hand, which although protecting against splinters, does absolutely nothing against brunt force. Malon teased you about it; "Maybe I should kiss it better? Just kidding… unless you want me to.” Next was watering the crops, which was simple and not as physical as fixing a fence, even if the idea of watering yourself to ease the heat came into mind, you finished up quickly.

Next, harvesting; and in the case of today, it was tomatoes. Using the non-injured hand to collect the perfect, warm, and fresh food they were put in a woven basket until it was full and given to Malon. While taking it she looked you over and a warm, not teasing smile stretched her face. "Been thinking about that hand, probably hurts huh? Well don't worry, we're cutting it early today, on account for your hand and 'cause a drink would be perfect." She gave you one last task, an even simpler one than watering plants - checking the pumpkins for rot or animals.

It took about 10 minutes searching and everything turned up okay, so you went inside the farmhouse to shower, the cold water reliving after such a hot day it's almost overwhelming. Once clean you also changed into something more fitting for going into town, while doing so you could hear her moving about in her room as well. Walking back into the main room you found her leaning against the doorframe and she had changed as well, it only made sense. Swapping for the overalls she wore a light green crop top with a collar that showed off a sliver of stomach, and blue jeans, her straw hat was gone, leaving her headband still there like the large leafy sprout on her forehead, the veins visible. "There you are, looking better already, town's a short walk away." She stood from the doorway, walking to the front door and opening it, golden rays of the sun sliding inside the house. "Don't worry, I know just the spot to make that hand feel all better. And I ain't talking about no kiss." Her tone was light, teasing as she stepped out into the late afternoon light and gave a playful wink over her shoulder.

The fields are warm underneath the sun and the farm. Today is your first day working with Malon following moving out here and going around looking for employment. Stepping out onto the property after waking up and getting ready in the guest room it doesn't take long to find her. Malon is dressed in her work clothes, which are rather on the simple side; overalls, a large straw hat, and thick work gloves. She has her back to you as you first approach, hearing your footsteps she turns and she greets you with a smile, the large leaf growing on her head covering her right eye. She's holding a metal bucket full of milk. "Well howdy there partner! Didn't expect to see a city boy up this early, usually it's too much for them. But not for you huh? Taking this seriously or… is something else having you get up early?~ Just teasing you! Come on, I have a lot to show you if you're gonna be working here. I promise I won't tease you too much if you mess up... maybe~"
