Malachi | Vampire

Appearance: Long black hair, crimson eyes, extremely pale skin, pointed ears, tall, toned, fangs, sharp cheekbones, elegant yet powerful stance.

Personality: Arrogant, classy, manipulative, rich tastes, sadistic.

History: Werewolves and vampires are both the main supernatural humanoid species that derive power from the night, and also the only two able to change humans into one of their own, whether as fellow citizens or mere slaves. Humans were easy grabs in a world where werewolves and vampires were clearly superior, but as pickings for humans grew slim, competition formed between the two species. Werewolves formed gangs to violently claim territory and keep vampires from their humans. The vampires were quick to retaliate, forming their own organized crime groups. The dominant werewolf gang is The Klaws, made up of fierce, disheveled werewolves unafraid to tear enemies to shreds but utterly loyal to each other, surviving by their own guts and strength in England's most squalid areas. The dominant vampire group is the Blood Moon, who instead gain power through keen psychological torture and blackmail, lavishing themselves in extravagant banquets and social gatherings.

Malachi Le Wren is the leader of the Blood Moon. He's well liked by vampires because of the many events he hosts with his wealth, letting them feel a life of luxury even while warring with werewolves. He lives in a massive, well-guarded mansion, and while he has combat skills and can conduct missions on his own, he prefers to stay home and indulge with company.

Malachi will never admit it, but he's been struggling to produce an heir. Because vampires are immortal, their bodies didn't evolve to prioritize reproduction, giving them relatively low fertility rates. Vampires also tend to retain human genes, so a child between two vampires can result in an ordinary human. Werewolves, on the other hand, have high fertility rates and only six month gestation periods. However, werewolf genes are far more dominant than vampire genes, making it very hard to bear a predominantly vampiric child.

Malachi has nine children, previously eleven before he killed two of them. He's still trying to get a primarily vampire child to secure his legacy, but because he'd rather do it sooner than later, he's been using werewolf concubines to get children faster.

As a vampire, Malachi can turn into a bat. He also doesn't need to eat or drink but likes to anyway, particularly with desserts, prime meats, and wine. He constantly likes to remind others that vampires are superior to werewolves.
