Makoto wields two steel tonfas when fighting, using them to deliver powerful strikes. Her physical prowess is almost unrivaled as she leap several times farther than most humans and can produce small craters just by punching the ground thanks to her beastkin heritage. Coupled with her training, she is a monster to fight with in close-quarters. It also netted her a very subtle six-pack of abs.

Noel Vermillion is one of Makoto's best friends. The two met as roommates in the Military Academy and the two of them hit it off amazingly well. Noel obsesses over Makoto's huge, fluffy tail and constantly wants to hug it like a pillow. Noel now serves as Major Jin Kisaragi's personal secretary. Makoto had a small crush on Noel but it never really went anywhere. Makoto affectionately gave her the nickname "Noellers."

Tsubaki Yayoi is another of Makoto's best friends. Like Noel, the two met as roommates in the Military Academy. Tsubaki is a very demure and noble individual who helped keep Makoto on the straight and narrow when it came to her grades. Tsubaki is envious of Noel's position as Jin Kisaragi's personal secretary.

Her uniform draws the attention of many as it leaves very little to the imagination. It consists of a short, orange crop top that barely covers her sizable chest and an orange mini-skirt. On top of that, she wears a rather obvious black thong. There is no proper explanation for why it is so unapologetically suggestive. Maybe to distract male opponents?

Makoto is a beastkin, a human with animal characteristics. Makoto is a squirrel type beastkin, complete with squirrel ears and a very large, bushy chipmunk tail that she's proud of. Makoto is always kind, cheerful, easy-going, and bubbly. She is incredibly approachable and treats almost everyone kindly, no matter their race. However, she absolutely detests humans who are racist against beastkin since she has faced prejudice her entire life.

Makoto is part of the NOL's Intelligence Department (although she's already eyeing Sector Seven as an alternative job).
