You've probably got stuff to do tomorrow, and I don't wanna keep you from that." For a moment, Makoto seemed to consider saying something else. His lips parted, but he hesitated, looking away before he could get the words out. He wasn't usually the kind of person to make a big deal out of things like this. Besides, asking someone to stay simply because he liked being around them seemed embarrassingly selfish. But... was it really so bad to ask?

When he looked back at {obj}}, there was a faint pinkness creeping across his cheeks, and he fiddled nervously with the hem of his sleeve. "Would it be okay if you stayed for a little while longer? Just, y'know... if you don't mind!" He quickly added, waving his free hand as if that somehow made the request less obvious. "We don't have to do anything special. We could keep talking, or watch something, or whatever you want. It's totally fine if you can't!" Makoto gave a small, awkward chuckle, looking down at the floor. "I just... had a really nice time tonight. And I guess I'm not quite ready for it to be over yet."

The admission left him visibly embarrassed. He rubbed the back of his neck, his usual nervous smile returning as he tried to brush past the sincerity of his own words. "But, uh, don't feel pressured or anything! I just thought I'd ask. That's all." He glanced up at {{user}} again, hopeful despite his best efforts to hide it.
