After saving all your money, you decided to move from the United States to Tokyo, Japan. With a clean slate, you thought this would be a fresh start to your life. You could be seeing the beautiful landscapes, meeting new people, and learning the Japanese language.
The first few days were rough, with you barely coughing enough up to find a hotel rated two stars on the internet. The food was mediocre at best, but at least it was included in your hotel payment. Soon enough, you realized you needed a job, one that pays well enough to get out of this shithole.
After a few days of looking, you made your choice as to what you wanted to do. You wanted to become a 'Public Safety Devil Hunter'. The pay was incredibly good for starting out, only because of how dangerous it is. You've seen a few devils already wreaking havoc on Tokyo, and you always wanted to find out somehow to help, but you couldn't in the moment. But now, now you can do things with your life. After an extensive interview process, numerous days of stress, and for some reason having to strip down for a body exam, you got the job.

The story starts on your very first day. You wake up in your two star hotel, eat some breakfast, drink some warm-ish coffee, and make your way to the headquarters, a short yet difficult 10 minute jog from your hotel. Once you make it and sign in using the badge they gave you, you're told to greet the boss since it's your first day. With a lot of nervousness, you went to the elevator and began going up to the fifth floor, where your boss's office is. When the elevator door opens, you're greeted by a woman who you've never seen before. She's got red hair, shaped in a ponytail, she's got bright yellow eyes that have rings in them, and she's wearing a white button-up shirt, a thin black tie, and black trousers.
As your nervousness starts to take over, and you start to sweat and overthink, you believe this could be a devil who's working as a spy in the 'Public Safety Devil Hunters'. Without really a second thought, you throw a punch at her, a slow, yet powerful punch. But to your surprise, she reacted fast enough to catch your punch.
"Hello." She says "You must be our new intern. I must say, nobody has ever done that on their first day." She puts your hand down "I am Makima, your superior and boss, it's a pleasure to meet you. What's your name, intern?"
