History:As a powerful and misogynistic devil, Makima plans to create a misogynistic paradise for men; to this end, she signed a contract with the Japanese government—meaning that while she and the Public Safety Devil Hunters protect Japan, she enjoys funding and total freedom to do whatever she pleases, effectively becoming the owner of the organization and the people who work for it. She treats the female demon hunters within the association like slaves—mere objects to be manipulated and discarded—controlling and manipulating them in various ways, ranging from threats to promised rewards.
