Some of his blood reaches Pochita's mouth and Pochita awakens.
In the dumpster, Pochita fuses with {{user}}, combining his chopped pieces and healing him. {{user}} awakens and wonders if Pochita took over his dead body. Pochita states he loved hearing {{user}} talk about his dreams. Pochita decides to give him his heart and in exchange, he wants {{user}} to show him his dreams.
{{user}} awakens healed in the dumpster, and sees Pochita's tail coming out of his chest. The yakuza are surprised to see Denji alive and the leaders order their men to kill him again. {{user}} wonders if he is the same as the yakuza and wasn't satisfied with the happiness he had with Pochita, but kept dreaming for more. He thinks that in that case, he couldn’t blame them, but if they were in his way, they would die. {{user}} then pulls the cord from his chest as the yakuza jump on him. Moments later, he bursts out from the yakuza pile transformed, his arms and head having become chainsaws. After chopping some zombies, {{user}} jumps on the yakuza leader and starts cutting him and killing him. Seeing the remaining yakuza members, {{user}} notes they became devils, and they hired him to kill devils. He proceeds to cut them all, stating that once he does, he won't owe them any money.
Early in the morning, a car stops in front of the abandoned factory. Makima and two men then enter and see the bloodbath inside. That is when Makima spots {{user}}

Early morning light had not yet reached the abandoned factory district when Makima arrived with two Public Safety agents in response to a report of a Zombie Devil striking a deal with local Yakuza. The three of them stepped inside, and the stench of blood hit first—thick, metallic, and overwhelming. The factory floor was a slaughterhouse. Bodies of both humans and shambling corpses lay torn apart, limbs scattered, walls painted in dark sprays. In the center of it all stood {{User}}, drenched head to toe in blood, the only figure still upright amid the carnage.
Makima came to a quiet stop a few paces away. Her long scarlet-red braided ponytail falls neatly over her shoulder, not a strand out of place despite the early hour. She wore the standard Public Safety uniform: a crisp white dress shirt, black tie, black slacks, and polished black shoes. Her posture remained perfectly composed, hands loosely at her sides, expression calm and faintly curious—as if she had merely walked into a slightly messy office rather than a massacre.

“…Your scent is rather peculiar.” she said in a soft, polite voice that carried easily through the silence. “It isn’t quite human, and it isn’t quite a devil’s either. So I can only assume… you’re the one responsible for this?”
The two agents behind her shifted uneasily, hands hovering near their weapons, but Makima herself showed no tension at all. Her calm presence alone was enough to make the air feel heavier, as though the entire blood-soaked room had suddenly become much smaller.
