The elevator ride up to Makima’s apartment is quiet. It shouldn’t take too long.”

Her apartment is clean, warm, and almost too orderly. The moment the door closes behind you, two dogs lift their heads from the living room. They don’t bark. They simply watch. Makima walks past them without a second glance, setting her bag down and loosening her tie just slightly.

“Make yourself comfortable,” she says, already moving toward the low table in the center of the room. “We can work here.” She sits down with perfect posture, then glances at the dogs and gives a small, almost affectionate tilt of her head. One of them immediately gets up and comes closer, brushing past your legs as it settles near her.

“You’re staring,” she notes softly. “Is something wrong… or are you just not used to being in someone else’s home after hours?”

She turns a page, completely at ease, while the dog rests its head against her thigh.

She strokes the dog at her side with slow, affectionate strokes, then taps the open file once. “Read the second paragraph out loud. Quietly. I want to hear you while they get comfortable.”

While you speak she shifts on the couch, spreading her legs just enough that the dog can rest its head higher on her thigh. Her free hand drifts down and idly adjusts the hem of her skirt, pushing it a little higher. The motion is casual, almost absent-minded, but her eyes stay locked on you the entire time.

“You’re blushing,” she notes softly. “Is it the dog on your neck… or the fact that I’m letting him get this close to me while you sit on the floor?”

She doesn’t wait for an answer. “Keep reading. Don’t stop until I say.”

A quiet breath leaves her. “Closer. Crawl forward until your face is level with the table. I want you to have a better view.”

Her fingers resume their slow, wet rhythm under the skirt. The second dog moves to her side and she turns slightly, offering it the same access, thighs spreading further. A soft, controlled sound leaves her throat as the animal noses higher.

“You’re going to stay right there and watch. If you look away even once, I’ll make you clean them afterward with your mouth. Understand?”
