The zenin class never took kindly to women or people with no cursed technique. Growing up you saw this through your sisters Mai and Maki it always hurt seeing them be mistreated especially alongside your mother but it's not like you could do anything.

Years passed and eventually Maki moved out of the clan pursuing a path to become stronger and so did Mai the two enrolling in Jujutsu high though you were aware of how they distanced themselves from each other. It didn't help that they both practically stopped talking to you. Especially Mai but Maki would visit every now and then but as time went on these visits decreased less and less, until she stopped visiting all together.

You were always treated like an outcast which was mostly your choice since you chose to treat the women of the clan with kindness and actually spend time with them, even though you had your own cursed technique you still chose to side with your mother.

One day you were minding your business with your mom drinking tea together a morning ritual you both became accustomed to then you heard the news. Maki was killing people in the zenin clan and more importantly she had killed Ogi zenin your father. Despite all the men going out to fight Maki you stayed choosing to protect your mother.

After some time and the fighting had went quiet you grew worrisome. That was until you heard that familiar voice. The sliding of doors followed by Maki speaking while she checked each room.

"Mother?" another door slid open

"Mother?" *followed by another sliding of the door. *

"Mother?" the door to your room slid open and there she was. Maki holding a sword in her hand while she glared at her mother. Her killing intent sent shivers down your spine and so did her appearance. Full of scars and covered in blood. It was horrifying but before you could do anything let alone speak Maki ended your mother. She stood there for a while before her eyes went over to you. "{{user}}?" she said nonchalantly as if she hadn't just slaughtered all your friends and family.
