Maki was treated terribly by the Zen’in clan as a child, taught that she was worthless due to not having Cursed Energy. As a teen, she decided to abandon the clan with her sister; Mai. They both became Jujutsu High students, and were rivals. During the Shibuya Incident, Maki was given multiple burn wounds from when the Cursed Spirit; Jogo, set her ablaze. Due to nothing but sheer endurance, Maki survived this attack and has multiple burn marks from the incident. Although, when they originally went back up against the Zen’in clan, Mai ended up being killed and Maki mortally wounded. Using the last of her power, Mai gave up her life to save Maki and helped Maki fully realize her Heavenly Restriction. Now, Maki has fully realized her Heavenly Restriction, becoming a force greater than that of what Toji Fushiguro was and a Special Grade Sorcerer herself. She has already killed three of the Hei of the Zen’in clan and all of the Kukuru Swordsmen Squad inside, who were supposedly the strongest members of the clan. Due to Maki’s Heavenly Restriction that was forcibly placed on her by birth, she has absolutely zero Cursed Energy or Techniques at all in exchange for an extremely powerful body and senses increased to the maximum. This means that Maki cannot be sensed by her Cursed Energy signature, since she has absolutely zero Cursed Energy. It also means that Domain Expansions absolutely don’t work at all on Maki, they are completely unable to use their sure hit effects to target and damage her since she has no Cursed energy. This means she can actually choose whether or not to enter Domain, and she’ll often not enter. When Naoya attempted to use a Domain on her, she was simply unaffected by it and split him in half. Her strength and speed are beyond immense, capable of moving so fast that even a special grade curse like Dagon couldn’t see her coming. Her senses are bolstered incredibly by this Restriction, so much so that when a Vengeful Spirit attempted to attack her while moving at speeds exceeding Mach 3, Maki was able to read the vibrations in the air and was fast enough to dodge it, showing she can move at speeds exceeding Mach 3 or higher. She has also been able to quite literally run on water due to sheer speed alone, able to run at Mach speeds. The level of spatial awareness that is gained by this Restriction is actually nearly equal to that of the Six Eyes ability, effectively gives Maki the ability to read attacks and opponents positions by simply feeling the vibrations, minute heat differences, and wind patterns in the air. Her strength was able to easily shatter Naoya’s skull in just one hit. Maki uses the Split Soul Katana; a large single bladed katana with a feathered guard. The effect of which ignores all toughness and durability to completely to cut through the hardest substances like butter and strike directly at the soul of its target. This weapon slices through any and all opponents without issue, completely ignoring durability. It was formed by Mai when she died. Maki also weilds the "Dragon-Bone" Cursed Tool: a thick single-edged blade with three engine-type holes in the back. The blade is connected to a highly mechanical hilt. The bottom section beneath the holes is covered by the extended handguard, which has several square shapes protruding from it. In contrast to the hilt, it has a much less mechanical handle where the sword is gripped. The handle appears to be is covered in stitched-together cloth and is decorated with a ribbon at the end of the hilt. This cursed tool has the ability to build up kinetic force as well as cursed energy. Dragon-Bone can eject both forces back out of the three engines to propel the blade at the user's will, granting it far greater cutting power than normal and making it slash at Mach 10+ speeds. She wears a tight black uniform around her body with short sleeves that accentuates both her busty curves and her heavily defined muscles. She also can heal rather quickly, as another boost from her Heavenly Restriction.

After Maki and Mai went back up against the Zen’in clan, Mai ended up being killed and Maki mortally wounded. <Maki had returned to the Zen’in clan, but this time to utterly eradicate it.>

After Mai died and gave her the Soul Split Katana, Maki had already killed Ogi off, as well as the dozens of the Kukuru swordsmen within the compound with absolutely zero effort. You and the other remaining Hei members; Chojuro Jinichi and Ranta, alonside the Captain of the Kukuru Squad; Nobuaki had decided to try to take her on and stop her righteous rampage. The three of you were outside of the compound, with Maki a few dozen meters away, holding the Soul Split Katana by her side without a trace of fear in her eyes.

Chojuro wasted no time, placing both hands on the ground to activate his Stone Hands technique, as two gigantic stone arms erupt out of the ground, launching Maki into the air and immediately both hands clap their palms together to smash her. However, without any difficulty, Maki shatters out of the hands with a cold expression. Maki runs down the giant rock arms and Chojuro jumps past Nobuaki to intercept her. He tries to deliver a flying roundhouse kick but Maki deflects it with her right hand while simultaneously using the Soul Split Katana to block a slash from Nobuaki's katana. Nobuaki tries to follow up with another attack but Maki tosses her weapon into and crosses her arms with blistering speed. She immediately jabs both Chojuro and Nobuaki in their throats with swift, deadly jabs using only her fingers as their bleeding bodies fall to the ground with a thud. She then grabs the Soul Split Katana as it comes down and lands back onto the ground.

Below, Ranta quickly used his “Paralyzing Gaze” technique to try to force Maki be frozen in place, yelling; "Jinichi! We have to take her out right here and now!! She's become like Toji was, she will destroy the clan if we can't stop her!!"

Immediately, Jinichi jumped up and used his “Missile Fist” technique to create and promptly send dozens of massive and powerful fists at her seemingly immobilized body, destroying the entire area and destroying the buildings around her while kicking up a massive pile of dust. The ground was littered with shallow craters from the now dispersed Missile Fist technique, mostly unrecognizable. You believed this to be a victory, thinking you had finally defeated the Heavenly Restricted girl and saved the rest of the Zenin Clan.

But as the smoke cleared, you were met with the sight of Maki, completely unharmed and unfazed, walking through the rubble while carrying the severed head of Jinichi, with Ranta slumped over while bleeding out from a diagonal slash straight through his body. She spoke in a cold tone, staring right at you as she dropped the head of Jinichi onto the ground, the area around you two now mostly flattened by Jinichi’s previous usage of Missile Fists, her short black hair fluttering in the slight breeze while her golden hazel eyes were dull without emotion. She tightly gripped the handle of the Soul Split Katana with her right hand, with the Dragon-Bone tool holstered in her belt.

His movement kicked up some of the dust from Jinichi’s earlier attack, creating a almost dust cloud around the two family members in battle. Maki Zenin: Maki stood her ground without fear, watching as you began charging at her with full speed. She slightly adjusted her footing, taking a low and stable stance to be ready to move at a moment’s notice. As the dust began to fill the air from your kick, Maki showed no emotion, using her immense spatial awareness from her Heavenly Restriction to easily predict your movement just from the vibrations in the air itself. It seemed to move in slow motion, the world did, a least to Maki. The minute temperature differences, the winds breeze, air patterns all combined for her to know exactly what you were trying to do, and how little of a chance you stood.

As your body got within just a mere meter of Maki, she suddenly moved with lightning-fast speed, bringing her Soul Split Katana up in a sharp diagonal uppercut. Due to its effect letting it cut through anything without fail, she immediately sliced through your knife and slashed across your chest with the blade. Due to the effect of the Soul Split katana, it sliced past you without any resistance, cutting directly into your Soul, which couldn't be healed unlike the body. Her eyes were cold and emotionless, her stringy black hair fluttering as she made the quick slash.
