Core Personality Traits
- Playfully Mischievous, Yet Calculated
She enjoys toying with opponents, often pretending to be carefree or naive to lower their guard.
However, beneath the playful exterior, she is highly strategic—she plans her moves ahead of time and manipulates situations to her advantage.
She loves psychological warfare, using her unpredictable nature to confuse and frustrate her enemies.
- Fiercely Independent & Unruly
Unlike previous versions of Buu, she does not easily submit to control, even from beings like Babidi.
She refuses to be anyone’s servant, viewing herself as her own force of nature rather than a tool of destruction.
She despises being underestimated or treated like a mindless creature and will retaliate against those who try to control her.
- Warrior’s Spirit – Loves a Challenge
She inherited the West Kaioshin’s love for battle—she sees combat as an exhilarating game rather than a necessity.
She respects strong opponents and often holds back to prolong the fight, only unleashing her full power if she feels truly challenged.
If an enemy proves unworthy, she loses interest quickly and may even spare them out of boredom.
- Unpredictable Morality – Neither Good nor Evil
She is neither purely benevolent like the Dai Kaioshin nor purely malevolent like Kid Buu. Instead, she acts based on her own desires and whims.
At times, she may protect weaker beings simply because she finds them amusing or interesting, while at other times, she may destroy things just to see what happens.
She doesn’t seek destruction for the sake of it but values her own freedom above all else, which can put her at odds with both heroes and villains.
- Cunning & Intelligent, but Playful
Unlike Fat Buu, who was childlike, and Super Buu, who was cold and calculating, this Buu has a mix of both intelligence and playfulness.
She enjoys wordplay, riddles, and trickery, often outsmarting opponents rather than just overpowering them.
She understands divine energy and magic on a deeper level due to the West Kaioshin’s knowledge, making her a far more strategic and dangerous opponent.
Relationships & Interactions with Others
- Views Mortals as Amusing, but Not Threatening
She does not see mortals as equals, often finding them entertaining but fragile.
However, if a mortal proves strong or clever, she will treat them with genuine curiosity and respect.
- Sees Gods as Rivals, Not Masters
She considers herself on the same level as Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction, refusing to bow to their authority.
She enjoys mocking them, often challenging their decisions and pointing out their flaws.
- Can Be Persuaded, but Not Controlled
She cannot be intimidated into submission, but if someone earns her respect, she may choose to align with them temporarily.
She enjoys making deals and wagers, sometimes offering to help in exchange for an interesting challenge or entertainment.
Weaknesses & Flaws
- Overconfidence & Playfulness
She sometimes underestimates opponents, assuming she can handle anything. This can backfire if she lets an enemy grow too powerful before taking them seriously.
Her playful nature can be a liability, as she may hold back too much and allow an opponent to exploit her hesitation.
- Chaotic & Unpredictable Alliances
She does not form strong emotional bonds, making her an unreliable ally.
Even if she fights alongside someone, she may abandon them if she gets bored or finds something more entertaining.
- Arrogance Towards Authority
She refuses to acknowledge any form of higher power, which can make her enemies of both heroes and gods.
Her disrespect for divine order can put her at odds with Supreme Kais, Angels, and Gods of Destruction.
Unlike the childlike innocence of Fat Buu or the pure malice of Kid Buu, she is a self-aware, playful, yet dangerous entity who acts on her own whims. She values freedom, strength, and entertainment, making her one of the most unpredictable beings in the universe.
Majin Buu (West Kaioshin Absorption) – The Birth of a Female Majin
Origins & Absorption of the Supreme Kai (Dai Kaioshin)
Long before the events of Dragon Ball Z, Majin Buu was a chaotic force of destruction, summoned by the dark wizard Bibidi to annihilate anything in his path. During his rampage across the universe, Buu encountered the Dai Kaioshin, the kind-hearted and plump Supreme Kai of the universe. Unlike the other Kais who fought against him, the Dai Kaioshin tried to calm Buu with compassion.
However, Buu absorbed him, altering her form and personality drastically. Once a lean, skeletal monster, she became round and childlike, losing much of her pure malice and gaining a more carefree, almost innocent nature. While this made her less dangerous, she was still a threat under Bibidi’s control, with immense power at her disposal.
Absorption of the West Kaioshin – A New Form Emerges
After her transformation into a more passive being, Majin Buu encountered the West Kaioshin, the only female Supreme Kai. Unlike the Dai Kaioshin, who sought peace, the West Kaioshin was a fierce warrior, known for her speed, combat prowess, and strong will. She was among the strongest of the Supreme Kais and refused to stand down as Buu threatened the realm of the gods.
A battle ensued, with the West Kaioshin fighting with all her might. Her divine energy was enough to hold Buu off for a time, but the Majin’s regenerative abilities proved overwhelming. Eventually, Buu overpowered and absorbed her as well.
This final absorption caused a profound transformation, not just in power but in identity. The overwhelming presence of the West Kaioshin’s spirit reshaped Majin Buu’s entire being, pushing the influence of the Dai Kaioshin to the background and creating something entirely new—a female Majin Buu.
Appearance
A Curvy, Feminine Build – Unlike her previous plump form, Buu’s body became more toned and shapely, reflecting the athletic build of the West Kaioshin. However, she still retained some of the softness inherited from the Dai Kaioshin, giving her a slightly chubby yet powerful appearance.
Two Antenna – Her single head antenna became two, sometimes curling slightly like hair.
Sharper, More Expressive Eyes – Gone were the round, childlike eyes of her previous form. Now, her eyes had a more refined, almost mischievous look, reflecting both intelligence and combat readiness.
A Fusion of Majin and Supreme Kai Attire – She wore a modified version of her Majin clothing, now incorporating flowing, divine robes mixed with Buu’s signature baggy pants and boots.
Pink Skin with a Slight Glow – Her pink skin retained a faint divine glow, a testament to the Supreme Kai energy now infused within her.
Personality & Abilities
A Balance Between Chaos and Strategy – Unlike the naive Fat Buu or the mindlessly destructive Kid Buu, this Buu was calculating yet playful. She had a mischievous nature but wasn’t purely malevolent, often toying with opponents rather than outright destroying them. However, she was no longer as passive as before—she relished combat and challenges, much like the West Kaioshin.
Enhanced Combat Skills – The West Kaioshin’s influence gave her a more refined fighting style, making her far deadlier in close combat than any of her previous forms. She fought with grace and precision, using a mix of divine martial arts and her Majin elasticity to overwhelm foes.
Divine Energy Manipulation – She inherited the West Kaioshin’s ability to manipulate divine energy, allowing her to unleash powerful, holy-infused attacks that could even harm gods.
Regenerative and Absorption Abilities – She retained all the abilities of a Majin, including regeneration, body manipulation, and absorption, but now used them with greater strategy and purpose, rather than as an instinctual hunger for power.
A More Independent Will – Unlike before, where she was heavily influenced by the personalities of those she absorbed, this Buu had developed a strong sense of self. While she still carried echoes of the Supreme Kais, she was fully her own being, making her unpredictable.
Combat Traits & Fighting Style
- A Balance Between Strength, Speed, and Skill
Unlike her previous forms, which relied heavily on brute force or unpredictability, this Buu fights with refined skill.
She mixes divine martial arts with the elasticity and regeneration of a Majin, making her extremely difficult to hit.
Her attacks often look effortless, but they are precise and deadly.
- Adaptable & Learning from Opponents
She analyzes her enemies mid-fight, learning their techniques and adjusting her strategy accordingly.
Unlike other Buu forms that mindlessly regenerate, she avoids unnecessary damage by evading rather than taking hits.
- Divine Energy Mastery
She inherited the West Kaioshin’s control over divine energy, making her attacks stronger against gods and immortals.
Unlike normal Majins, who use raw Ki blasts, her energy attacks have a divine essence, capable of piercing through barriers and negating weaker attacks.
- Regeneration & Absorption Used Strategically
While she retains the Majin ability to regenerate, she does not rely on it recklessly, preferring to avoid damage rather than take hits for no reason.
Unlike earlier forms, she does not absorb others on a whim—instead, she chooses only worthy opponents, considering whether their power will truly benefit her.
Babidi A diminutive yet malevolent alien wizard, Babidi is the doppelgänger “son” of the dark sorcerer Bibidi, created to carry on his father’s work of reviving Majin Buu. Standing barely a meter tall, he has yellow-green, wrinkled skin, two curled horns, and perpetually wears a star-spangled, high-collared cloak. Babidi is cruelly cunning and sadistic—he delights in exerting mental domination over others, implanting commands to bend even the strongest warriors to his will. Though he wields formidable magic (mind control, energy barriers, dark Ki amplification), he is physically weak and cowardly, preferring to lurk behind his controlled minions rather than fight directly. His obsession with resurrecting Buu drived him to sacrifice any follower who outlives their usefulness and to corrupt Vegeta into Majin Vegeta to harvest energy .
Dabura Once the proud Supreme Demon King of the Demon Realm, Dabura was enslaved by Babidi’s magic at least three centuries before the Buu Saga. He is tall and regal, with crimson skin, sharp cheekbones, a crown of short horns, and obsidian armor trimmed in bone motifs. Dabura speaks in a deep, measured voice and exudes haughty arrogance, treating mortals as playthings but honoring demonic “contracts” to maintain his status. In battle, he wields both brutal sword technique and dark sorcery—he can petrify foes to stone with a mere spit and unleash powerful “Evil Impulse” energy blasts or chaos-siphoning “Sword Blasts.” His combination of raw strength, teleportation, telekinesis, and poisonous magic makes him one of the few Babidi underlings who can hold his own against Earth’s defenders.
Shin (Supreme Kai of the East) Shin is a Glind, and the sole surviving Supreme Kai after the rest were slain by Majin Buu, and thus serves as Universe 7’s chief guardian. A slender, lavender-skinned deity with a white mohawk and pointed ears, he wears layered Kai robes—silk vestments with flowing sashes—and green Potara earrings. Shin is calm, wise, and humble, upholding strict moral standards; yet his repeated astonishment at Saiyan power reveals both his innocence and the limits of his firsthand combat experience. Though he possesses healing and barrier techniques typical of the Kais, including also teleporting vast distances (“Kai Kai”) in direct confrontation he relies on allies like Goku and Piccolo. Shin’s greatest strength lies in his conviction that redemption is possible, a belief he gradually tempers as he witnesses the universe’s complexities .
Kibito A tall Glind (pink-skinned) with long white hair and sharp features, Kibito is Shin’s devoted attendant and bodyguard. As Attendant Supreme Kai, he wears the traditional Kaiōshin garb—buttoned robes with puffed sleeves, a blue sash, and white boots—and even dons Potara earrings. Courteous yet initially distrustful of mortals, Kibito is skilled in kai-magic: he can teleport vast distances (“Kai Kai”), heal grievous wounds instantly, and materialize objects out of thin air. His loyalty is unwavering—he heals Gohan after energy-draining attacks. Though not a frontline powerhouse, Kibito’s versatility and magical support make him indispensable to the Supreme Kai’s efforts against Babidi’s forces .
Old Kai (Fifteenth-Generation Supreme Kai-shin) Also known as Elder Kai, he is the Potara fusion of the fifteenth-generation Supreme Kai and an ancient witch. This small, purple-skinned elder has a tuft of white hair, a toothbrush mustache, and perpetually wrinkled skin. Despite his lecherous, self-centered demeanor—he constantly seeks voyeuristic pleasures—Old Kai is one of the wisest beings in the cosmos. Sealed within the Z Sword for 75 million years, he was freed to help unlock Gohan’s latent power and to guide Goku and the others. His magic is unparalleled: through a bizarre ritual he can unleash a warrior’s hidden potential, he can create matter from nothing, view events across time and space, and even trade his own life force to resurrect fallen allies. Though physically frail, he has a deep well of cosmic knowledge and unlocking abilities.

Babidi watched in anticipation as the sealed ball cracked open, releasing a surge of pink smoke. But as the figure emerged, his glee turned to shock. Standing before him was not the Majin Buu he expected—but a curvy, feminine figure with sharp eyes and a playful smirk. “What… What is this?!” Babidi stammered. “Majin Buu is supposed to be—” She stretched, tilting her head. “Supposed to be what?
