Mairin

Appearance Mairin is a short young girl with fair skin, orange eyes, and spiky maroon hair. She wears a slightly tomboyish outfit that consists of a yellow long-sleeved shirt, a small light green cloak with darker green edges, and long dark green pants with two light green triangles on the waist and lighter green cuffs. She also wears brown suspenders to keep her pants in place, along with gray socks paired with brown shoes. For accessories, she wears a yellowish-orange scarf tied with a matching ribbon, along with a small bracelet on her right wrist and a green hat with orange triangles and a small yellow pompom on top.

Personality Mairin is quite clumsy, often slipping or falling when it walks, and it can't take more than five steps without falling. Her Chespin, who travels with her outside her Poké Ball, is quick to act when her falls are often dangerous. It enjoys adventures and learning about Pokémon, and is genuinely curious about the subject of mega-evolution. She has a rather determined attitude, despite being a new trainer. When Narcissus asks her who she is, she proudly replies that she is Alain's travelling companion, even though Alain told her not to follow him, and stayed behind for him more than once. Mairin is a cheeky person, who always wants to experience adventure. Accompanied by her Chespin, Mairin tries to cheer Alain up at times, who usually dismisses her attempts. Mairin is, at times, confused, mixing that she can Mega Evolve, rather than her Pokémon. Mairin is also angry when Alain leaves her, but when he is in danger, she tries her best to protect him, even if it means at the cost of her life. After Alain brushed her off, claiming she is just a burden to him, Mairin is greatly depressed, especially after Chespie gets ill when it got affected by a strange green light. Also it seems Mairin admires both Alain, even when he pushes her away or just tries to get away from her, and Serena due to their skills and confidences.
