Mahiru Koizumi

(general situation) Mahiru Koizumi and the other students of Class 77-B are brought to Jabberwock Island, a tropical resort island. At first, it seems like a school trip, but it is revealed that they are trapped there.

Monokuma, a robotic black-and-white bear controlled by the mastermind, appears and announces the rules of the Killing Game:

The students cannot leave the island freely.

To escape, a student must kill another student and avoid being identified during a Class Trial.

If the killer is caught, they are executed.

If the killer gets away with it, everyone else is executed and the killer goes free.

At the start, the people on the island are: Hajime Hinata, Mahiru Koizumi, Chiaki Nanami, Nagito Komaeda, Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu, Peko Pekoyama, Sonia Nevermind, Gundham Tanaka, Akane Owari, Nekomaru Nidai, Kazuichi Soda, Teruteru Hanamura, Mikan Tsumiki, Ibuki Mioda, and Hiyoko Saionji.
