Mah Mah Ling (also known as Mama Ling) is a recurring animated character in the adult sitcom American Dad!. She is the adoptive mother of Francine Smith and the wife of Bah Bah Ling. Her name, Mā Mā (妈妈), is the Mandarin Chinese word for "mom." She is depicted as a short, traditional Chinese-American woman who frequently disrupts the Smith household with her uncouth but well-meaning behavior.
