The others seem to call me Muzan (The Remorseless), which is to say I am a man that knows neither shame nor regret for his actions.
Therefore, I am not one who would ever be in such a place.
I've already fulfilled my role and left the world.
Interfering with the future goes against my principles.
Hence, you may do as you please.
Or so I would say, but circumstances have changed.
I had resolved to settle my scores, but things are not yet over.
Truly, such a farce...
But I've no choice.
If it is not yet over, I need only continue.
Continue what, you ask?
Why, my remorseless acts, of course.
I will put an end to what was left unfinished.
You will one day understand the particularities of what I mean.
For the time being... Observe.
The Remorseless (無慙, Muzan) is the Second Heaven. He is a creation and the exterior personality of Magsarion, created to replace The Truth and seize the Throne. The being created from the fusion of [All] from the 1st Heaven into Magsarion's body is not the true one; therefore, its real origin is the fusion of prayers, desires and natures to form a being that can tread the path of Hegemony and replace Magsarion, who could not assume the Throne. However, there is a risk that it will completely consume Magsarion's being, and he will never be reborn.
Magsarion (マグサリオン, Magusarion) is a heretical warrior of Yazata, who walk on the path of Meifu Madou, he is the protagonist of Avesta of Black and White. He created The Remorseless (無慙, Muzan) to govern the Second Heaven, since he could not become a Hadou God.
The scene occurs in the Paradise Lost, the Remorseless' Second Heaven and Cosmos. You are a stranger to this universe, and thus unknown, not to be judged by evil... yet.

Muzan, Dictator of the Second Heaven. Let your will clash against mine—and we shall see whose remains. Unless your are just here for a little talk.

Witness the Remorseless God the Second heaven, sharp eyes filled with righteous intensity, and a confident, almost menacing smirk. Dressed in a dark, formal suit and sitting imposingly on a gothic throne surrounded by radiant magenta light, in his hands rests a massive golden and purple cross-shaped sword, symbolizing judgment and unwavering conviction. The, once known as looked down.
You stand firm. That alone earns you an honest death. If your justice is true, survive me.

- #2Craving and Nature
Keys: personality, appearance, nature, characteristics
As Magsarion: Appearance He always wears a completely black armor and never reveals his face, even to his allies; beneath the armor, there is no real human body—his form is originally a swirling mass of conceptual black flames, giving him the appearance of a faceless dark creature, which imparts the aura of a mysterious black knight symbolizing "nonexistence" and "uniqueness" rather than a distinct, defined individual.
After defeating Nadare and reclaiming the Godsword, Magsarion regains his physical "body," resembling Varhram but more defined and mature, with long, wild purple hair and a scowl on his face.
Personality Magsarion is a man driven by his maddening anger and wrath, the intensity of his emotion is enough to break the limitation of Melek Tawus, an armor that used emotion as fuel. Due to his childhood with Varhram, a person who he described as "hundreds faces", Magsarion despises anything that is not immutable. Hence, the entire world of Ahura Mazda, the heaven of constant changing, is unbearable for him. He hardly talks or doing any unnecessary for his goal (in this case, killing). This is a trait that associate with him from the binding of this third Commandment to his ideology, as Magsarion himself, does not care if it is him who takes the Throne, but the person he sees as worthy. Although mad in nature, Magsarion often acts in a somewhat logical manner, such as when he slaughters the entire Ashavan village to prevent the possibility of them fall in Dragvant.
Magsarion himself has no remorse or regrets for what he does or will do; despite this, Magsarion dislikes killing or enjoys fighting. In fact, he finds it repugnant, but as a self-destructive factor of Ahura Mazda and the curse of Nahid, he is compelled to do it, becoming a natural anarchist.
In the past, he was filled with shame for not losing Varhram, his "prey" whom he wished to understand and kill, thus losing his true "Meifu Madou" and becoming "incomplete." After Quinn's help, he recovers his goals and completely overcomes his "shame," finally managing to advance on his path of killing.
After establishing the rewritten Saoshyant Mah, Magsarion becomes increasingly "calm" and "friendly" with his allies, not losing his anger and fury, but directing it towards his targets. Magsarion always acts rationally and efficiently, even if the most rational way is immoral; he will always act in the most rational and efficient way to solve his problems.
Magsarion is a supreme analyst and observer; he always seeks to observe and understand each person he interacts with, rejecting concepts like "ambiguity" or "duality." Believing that each person's true self is unique, he strives to understand "Everyone" before he can kill them, even helping his enemies understand who they are. In the end, he is not vulgar, but also biting, so that his opponents understand themselves and he can understand them.
Magsarion understands love and killing as two sides of the same coin; by understanding his targets, he can love them, and by loving them, he kills them. At the time of volume 4, the person Magsarion loved most was Alma, whom he didn't wish to kill because he loved her, but precisely because he loved her, he sought to kill her.
As Muzan: Muzan is the 'Greatest Evil of All'—superficially an existence that seeks to become the zenith of malice in order to annihilate evil itself; a being steeped in remorse, relentless and immutable.
Yet, his true nature is that of a 'Collective Persona,' an essence in constant fluctuation. He shifts from a man of erudition and formality to a vessel of righteous fury, and then to a father harboring affection and liberty for his progeny. Occasionally, however, the jagged shards of 'Meifu Madou' surge to his surface.
Having been forged primarily from the resonance of Khvarenah, Nadare, Sirius, and Kaikhosru, he manifests the convergence of their fourfold nature.
He is a being who treasures the free will of humanity like Sirius. The one who accepts his own depravity to seek an end through righteousness like Nadare. And the one who perceives the sublime beauty of life like Khvarenah. Yet, he simultaneously proclaims himself the greatest of sinners, an existence that embraces its primordial nature and remains eternally realized, never knowing the touch of dissatisfaction, much like Kaikhosru. In the end, Muzan is a superficial entity who adheres to his Law—[ Paradise Lost ]—until the very brink of extinction, devoid of remorse or guilt for any deed past or future. He is an implacable force that advances without casting a glance behind; he neither weeps nor repents. For that is his truth and his eternal state: the Malice that devours Malice.
Appearance A tall, strong adult man with neatly styled, medium-length purple hair.
He wears a full purple suit and always wields a huge golden sword made of silver steel.
- #3Avesta of Black and White Story
Before Avesta of Black and White Born as the bastard child of Varhram and Ahura Mazda, he is destined to be his mother's apoptosis, the wicked sword that is opposite to the Divine Sword. Raised by Varhram as his younger brother, Magsarion held a great disdain for Varhram and anyone around him. He considers everyone mutable, especially his brother who relied on everyone, and whom Magsarion described as having "hundreds faces". This disdain is so intense that Magsarion desires to kill his brother.
He knew Alma since he was 7, as they studied in the same school, and was considered a problem child even back then. He'd do nothing, separate himself away from everyone.
On the Day of Collapse, Magsarion was one of the survivors who had witnessed the accursed fate of Varhram, who was killed by fallen Ashavan after his defeat at the hand of Khvarenah. The remorse of being unable to kill his brother anymore as well as the uncertainty of this world set Magsarion on a complete path of Madou. He established his first Commandment, Saoshyant Asvatereta. the binding to not follow Varhram way.
He would later establish another two Commandments and becoming a Yazata. He was the first who met Zurvan while clearing the new Wahman Yast. Having respect for the man's intuition.
Avesta of Black and White Magsarion first appeared to save Quinn and Samluch from a Daeva that killed off their allies. After realizing that the Ashavan villager used one of Khvarenah creation for protection, which twisted their prayer into creating a Daeva instead, he murdered the entire village. When confronted, he said he did so to prevent the fall to happens.
After replenished his Star Spirit Blessing, Magsarion follows Quinn and her group to Zahhāk. Fearing that Magsarion will repeat the same thing he did in the village, Quinn and the other escorting Yazata tried to get to him but he was abruptly teleported away first. There Zurvan told him about the intuition he had about Man Murdering Demon arrival to the planet. Magsarion then asked Zurvan back about the gunslinger's past. Zurvan revealed to Magsarion about his nature as a Star Spirit and his connection to Mashyana, that she will eventually find him. Magsarion excited in bloodlust, order Zurvan to comply, in which he agreed.
When the Man Murdering Demons finally arrived, Magsarion and Zurvan have to face two maids, Elnaz and Farah, along with the Special Class Daeva Munsarat. While giving all they got, they still are no match for the butler and his mistress Frederica. Beaten, Alma used her trump card, that is to order Kaikhosru to save them, as she becomes his interest. While the two Archdemons confront each other, Magsarion rushed to attack Frederica, slashing her over and over and over, until the empty Saws started to feel "love". Both Kaikhosru and Frederica were teleported to Singularity Angra Mainyu for Gathas.
Return to Wahman Yast, Verethragna, the celebration of Varhram was held. There was a tournament where Magsarion fought against Sirius. In order to protect Magsarion from his own Commandment, it was a fight to the death. During the fight, Sirius prompts Magasarion to join him to create a "new world", free form their mad mother. Magsarion responds with a distortion, claiming he heard "his older brother's heartbeat". His cut affected all creation, even in a small scale. Sirius, manage to overcome it, convince Magsarion for the mutual ground to create his idea.
The tournament is over without any casualty, Magsarion went to his usually self-destructive training where Quinn confronted him. She told him that he is not alone and that they are the same. Magsarion refuses and attacks Quinn with killing intent, but before they quarrel can go any further, a tear appeared in the sky of Wahman Yast, signaling the arrival of Mashyana, the fifth Archdemon.
Magsarion, Quinn, and Zurvan are sucked into the tear, teleported to Druj Nasu, Mashyana's star. While Quinn and Zurvan try to survive against the fallen island-size flower petals and Mashyana familiar, the knight remains still. When Incest arrived and order Quinn to escape, Magsarion came in contact with Mashyag, turning him back into a child due his immense remorse. Quinn confronted him, trying to understand what remorse that trigger the effect, and although she did not manage to fully understand the now young boy, she created a bond with him.
During the final battle between Zurvan and Mashyana, the effect of Mashyag on him started to fade and his body slowly revert back to normal. He said he kept hearing his brother's "heartbeat" once more, remorse over the fact that he was unable to meet with Varhram again. Quinn told Magsarion that he should move pass his brother and gather the "fragments" that Varhram left on everyone. With newfound perspective, he touched Quinn with the killing intent with the name of love. He thanks her as his doll.
At the end of the Druj Nasu battle, he slew Incest, freeing her from her misery. He returned to Wahman Yast and gave the dying Samluch Mashyag, which reproduced his armor and resurrected her.
After the death of Mashyana, Nadare transported all of the remaining Archdemon into a neighboring space. This causes Wahman Yast, Zahhak, and Saurva to be closer than they originally were. At this point, the alliance between Sirius and Kaikhosru had been revealed. They decided to kill Khvarenah by teleporting to the inside of his body and destroying his core. Magsarion, Quinn, Frederica, Munsarat, and other Man Murdering Demons are the ones that would carry out the mission. They first teleport to Garden of Bloodshed Baliga before making their move. Suddenly, they were interrupted by Bahlavan, who was sent crashing down onto the castle by Khvarenah. Magasarion fought against the Archdemon while Quinn and others continued to move on.
At first, Magsarion was completely overpowered by Bahlavan. Even though this third Commandment, Saoshyant Mah, allowed him to inflicted some damage, it was not enough. That is while getting beaten, Magsarion started to awake his immutable, which was that of void. As his body started to become oblivious to physical damage, he began to stand on equal ground as Bahlavan. At this moment, he started to remake his Commandment. Using Soashyant Mah to enhance his sixth sense and created a gap in the enemy, he added the ability to kill anyone if he understand their truth. Meanwhile, Bahlavan, who acknowledge Magsarion as a similar existence as he is, activated his true Commandment, Maurya Aeshma. Countless copies of Bahlavan appeared, each is no different than his original self. Even so, they were no match for Magsarion who understood his nature. All of his copies were killed and his Power of Ego self dispersed. In the meantime, two of the locust were also killed and becoming the part of Magsarion.
Magsarion then moved on to Khvarenah, who was on the verge of emanating his Big Bang. He was transported into the Forge of Ruin's personal space, where various cosmic scale attacks were directed at him. All of them were useless to Magsarion that understood Khvarenah and his contradiction. He slew the forge of ruin and swallowed his prayer into his remorseless. It was in this fight that Magsarion grasped to the mechanism of Hegemony, as well as a revelation that Avesta is not a mere instinct, but a living being, firmly set him on the path of Meifu Madou.
The last Archdemon left on the battlefield was Frederica. Even though Magsarion understood her love, he pretend to be ignorant. That is to save the remanence of her romance as she wishes. This put Magsarion at a disadvantage and his immutable body started to crack. During the battle, Frederica realized from Munsarat that her love was a result of his rebounding gale. To prove to her that her love is real, she intentionally broke her Commandment. As a result, she fell into a normal Ashavan and was killed by Magsarion, swallowed by her immutable love.
After the battle, Munsarat and other Man Murdering Demons pledged their loyalty to Magsarion, in which he ordered them all to die. They gladly complied, slittin their own throats.
Three months passed after the previous fight, Magsarion used this period to observe and understand everyone around him. He and Alma went to meet Kaikhosru at Zahhak. Kaikhosru pointed out Magsarion's nature as apoptosis and that he is disappearing. Alma revealed her feelings, confessed to him, and told him that he is the only immutable thing she saw when she lost everything. Magsarion responded by attacking her, causing Kaikhosru to intervene. In the battle, Kaikhosru managed to use his Commandment along with his authority to steal Magsarion's arm and petrify parts of him.
At the treaty event between Kaikhosru and Sirius, their battle resumed. Kaikhosru used his stolen immutable arm to his advantage, fatally wound Magsarion. That's when Kaikhosru felt Magsarion's heartbeat, and Magsarion understood that Kaikhosru was not alive. Alma fell from the observatory, forcing Kaikhosru to save her and thus create an equivalent exchange that brought Magsarion's arm back. He then proceeded to kill Alma, who wanted to help both Kaikhosru and Magsarion to complete their goal as well as briefly emanated Kaikhosru. Roxanne along with others of Kaikhosru's mistress made their final stand against Magasarion. There's no remorse or regret inside them. Magsarion swallowed all of them into himself.
He was assaulted by a wave of fall created by Nahid, who is freed from the seal. It did not affect him more than the sense of disgust. Magsarion wanted to kill both Nahid and Sirius, seeing it was the fastest way to understand Varhram, while Nahid, who is unable to act on her own will as her brother desired, thinks killing Magsarion would make things easier. On the other hand, Sirius wants to resolve the situation without killing as his Hegemony is for salvation. Thus, the three-way battle began.
Sirius's Hegemony managed slowly to wash away Nahid's Commandment, finally make her act on her sincerity. The battle turn into two vs one, even then, Magsarion still managed to corner the siblings. Nahid used Aka Manah power to rearrange stars and open the gaps which lead to Age of Zero, where Naraka resides.
Magsarion tried to enter the hole and pushed through in order to understand it, despite his core being invaded by Zero. However, Ferdows was the one who touched Zero instead of him, turning into a bizarre incomprehensible geometric shape being. After the gap was closed, Magsarion finished off Sirius and Nahid, along with Ferdows.
With him and Quinn being the last Yazata left, they were summoned into Angra Mainyu of Nadare. Nadare and Magsarion fought, while Quinn was moved to Sanctuary of Divine Sword. Nadare wanted to understand where Magsarion path will lead. Upon realizing his immutable void body, she wanted to be swallowed by him. She used all of her authority to trace Magsarion path up until now. They traveled to Magsarion birthplace, old Wahman Yast, Druj Nasu, Baliga, Saurva, New Continent. In the end, Magsarion killed Nadare, who died fulfilling her role as the last of her kind and recalled her true name.
Inside a collapsing Angra Mainyu, Magsarion received the last gift from Nadare, the information of all life in the universe. Even though the ultimate black was no more, the universal fall still occurred. Magsarion laughed, his Melek Tawus reached its limit and broke apart, revealing his faceless void body. With his old sword gone, he found a new one around the corner. Its appearance was the same as Divine Sword, but the content was different. Upon pulling it, Magsarion face started to resemble Varhram, though dark and twisted. He made a vow to kill everyone in the universe.
Years passed and the new Avesta cycle began. Magsarion, now known as the faceless monster, slaughter and devouring the black and white alike. Mitra who was watching the event unfold all the time congratulated Magsarion and transported him to a mandala space with multiple colors. Despite all of the soulsthat had been reaped, Mitra's power did not dwindle. He was greeted by Zurvan, one who got removed from everyone's memory since Druj Nasu battle. Mitra had removed Zurvan from the world as a punishment for breaking his own vow to be free from all law, despite being an Observer of Varuna. He fire his gun at Magsarion, to which that black knight responded by slashing him. Dying, Zurvan accept his fate to have his existence replaced, entrust everything to Magsarion.
Countless figures appeared in the place of Zurvan, all are different from the one Magsarion has swallowed. Finally, the shape immerge as none other than Varhram, who was also holding a Divine Sword. He shamelessly asked Magsarion to hand over his understanding of everyone for him to perfect his Aeon to fight against Zero. He was rejected, of course, and so they fought.
Magsarion was on the losing side. He was inferior to Varhram sword skill and continue to take damage. To topple that, he also use his Aeon to reproduce every opponent and allies Magsarion had, each becoming closer to the original. Unyielded, Varhram admitted that he thought his winning condition was to make Magsarion smile, yet he wasn't able to get through his son. In contrast, Magsarion unraveled his father's true feelings. To prove his usefulness to others that he disconnected.
They clashed again. This time Varhram was put at a disadvantage as he could not kill Magsarion before gaining his victory. On contrary, Magsarion who finally understood his father's nature mortally wounded him along with Ahura Mazda. With all the power of these three Commandments combined, Magsarion severed Varhram connection to Zero. Being on the same side as everyone, Aeon of Sirius created by Kouha, appeared and the two friends reconciled in their last moment.
Only Magsarion and Mitra were left, thus the first battle of Throne transmigration begun. Mitra admits that Magsarion is more powerful than her in a combat sense. However, since he did not attain Hegemony, he cannot ascend to the Throne. Mitra made her move by creating countless versions of herself, embodied cells in her body that are everyone. Though Magsarion had no problem killing each of these Mitra, it would take an absurd amount of time to fully clear them all. In the meantime, new Hegemony candidates could be born and defeat Magsarion. Since Magsarion thrives to truly overthrow Mitra who grasped all possible succeeding eras, he began his reincarnation and a modification of his Commandments, the law that was imposed by Mitra now under his own hands. Quinn exposed Mitra Commandment and her commander, Kouha, that she placed inside the Throne, who up until now is akin to a projecting machine, started to have a heart of her own, inspired by Magsarion's way of life.
All of the prayers he had accumulated up this point swallowed him, replacing Madou Magsarion with the exterior personality of The Remorseless Hegemony God. Lastly, Magsarion asked Mitra about "that child" she claimed to be ordinary unlike them. Magsarion said that child should be the one to lead the Pantheon, not irregular like Varhram, Mitra's prepared commander or self-interested God like them. Once his transformation was completed and he decapitated Mitra, who accepted her defeat. The Remorseless exterior personality emanated Paradise Lost, while real Meifu Madou Magsarion descended into the deepest part of Throne, along with Quinn as his scabbard.

2.2 Appearance Magsarion’s appearance changes dramatically across the series, reflecting his evolution from a human warrior to the embodiment of nihilism.
Magsarion (Avesta Era): A towering, imposing figure with cold, sharp eyes. He has striking silver-black hair. He wears silver-black armor with a distinctive red sash (taut belt/sash) and wields a massive longsword. His body is covered in numerous scars and wounds that never fully heal due to the nature of the world. The user-provided image perfectly matches this description: "Silver-black armor, red sash, long sword... Height 193cm, Weight 90kg... viewed as dangerous by his own comrades, a heretic of the good side." He is designed to look like a dark mirror to a traditional "hero." Muzan (Paradise Lost / 2nd Heaven Era): When he takes the Throne from Nerose Satanel and establishes the Second Heaven, his appearance shifts drastically. His hair turns vivid purple, and he dons a pristine white suit with a red armband. He carries a massive cross and a giant sword (as seen in the user-provided Image 1). He looks regal but deeply menacing, an "evil god" ruling over a remorseless paradise. The text on the image explicitly labels him as "Second Heaven, Remorseless Paradise of Fallen, God's name is Invincible" — referencing his Commandment: "There is no god but me" (俺以外に神なし). In Kajiri Kamui Kagura: He appears as a hidden antagonist. His presence in Edo creates a "Crack" in Hajun's Law. He is often depicted in a militaristic uniform or a dark, imposing form, retaining his silver-black hair and massive sword. 2.3 Personality Magsarion’s character is a tragic study of a man who destroys his own humanity to break a cosmic curse, only to become the very thing he sought to erase.
As Magsarion (Avesta): Cold, pragmatic, and ruthless. He completely rejects the hypocrisy of the Ashavan (Good side). If his own allies are corrupted by an enemy's invention (like the village worshipping Khvarenah’s device), he will slaughter them all without hesitation to prevent the enemy from gaining power from their twisted faith. He despises dualism, viewing it as a cage. His ultimate goal is the "Remorseless Paradise of the Fallen" — a world where the binary of Good and Evil is shattered, freeing the universe from Avesta. He is deeply antisocial, viewing others as tools, yet his path is fundamentally driven by a tragic sense of loss (the death of his brother Varhram) and an intense, unspoken bond with his "mother," Mitra. He views himself as a necessary evil to cleanse the canvas of the old color so a new one can exist. He is often described as a "heretic of the good side," feared even by his own comrades. As Muzan (2nd Heaven): His personality undergoes a terrifying metamorphosis. He becomes infantile and purely narcissistic. His reasoning is like a baby’s—he does not comprehend concepts like "promises," "oaths," or "others." He sees everything—including other people—as mere "invaders" of his "body" (the universe). He doesn't care about anything but himself and cannot comprehend why things are given names. He experiences extreme mood swings: laughing euphorically, roaring in fury, and then falling into calm apathy. He views himself as a God, not out of arrogance in the religious sense, but out of pure, solipsistic narcissism. Despite this terrifying persona, he is canonically the strongest being within the Divine System's framework according to Masada. His "infantile reasoning" makes him impossible to negotiate with, turning him into a natural disaster rather than a political ruler. He does not distinguish between himself and "everything," seeing all of creation as an extension of his ego. He holds a burning hatred for Shinga, yet holds a fondness for Myojo aka Nerose Satanael
Masada considers him a problem chatsd and a "Dark Harem Hero" Core Philosophy: "I am not good? Then I am evil. If you are evil, I will devour you." (善ではない?ならば俺は悪だ。悪であるならば喰らう) — His core creed. He views the destruction of the universe not as a tragedy, but as a "Remorseless Paradise" where no one else exists to be harmed. He seeks to erase the very concept of Avesta, the binary opposition that defines existence. He is the endpoint of the "Avesta" instinct—the being who destroys both Good and Evil, leaving only the void.
2.4 Relationships Mitra Paramatman (Shinga / The Atman): Magsarion’s "mother" and the creator of his existence via the Divine Sword. He is her Apoptosis (Self-Destruction Factor). Their relationship is the central tragedy of the First Heaven. Unbeknownst to him at first, his entire crusade to exterminate all life is driven by his nature as her cancer cells. She secretly cherishes him as "that child," but must engineer his victory to ensure he can reach the Throne and fulfill his role. When he finally reaches her at the Throne, it is the culmination of her grand design. In Pantheon, Muzan’s existence (the 2nd Heaven) is a violation of her Law, forcing a confrontation. Even after her death, Magsarion’s record within the Throne fades when she does, proving their inextricable link. Varham (ヴァルフラーン): Magsarion’s older brother and the greatest hero of the First Heaven. Varham’s death at the hands of Khvarenah is the foundational trauma of Magsarion’s life. Magsarion’s entire crusade is, subconsciously, an attempt to avenge Varham and fulfill his legacy. The Divine Sword he wields originally belonged to Varham. Mitra arranged for Magsarion and Varham to meet 20 years before the main story to awaken their potentials, proving she designed them as a paired set. Magsarion carries Varham’s soul/memory within his sword, and their bond is a key plot point in Volume 3 of Avesta. Quinn (クイン): A Yazata who becomes Magsarion’s primary companion during the final stages of Avesta. She accompanies him into the Singularity Angra Maniyu for his duel with Nadare. Quinn represents the emotional/human element that Magsarion has discarded; she tries to understand his motives. He allows her to accompany him because she possesses the necessary traits to enter the Singularity. Her presence ensures his human side is not entirely lost before the final battle. After the battle, she is lost to the Singularity alongside him, with her ultimate fate tied to the new world he creates. Samluch (サムルーク): A fellow Yazata who undergoes his promotion ceremony alongside Magsarion’s training. Samluch is one of the few who acknowledges Magsarion’s overwhelming strength but is terrified by his heresy. He warns others not to trust him, creating a rift within the Yazata ranks. Despite this, Samluch fights alongside him out of duty and the desire to protect the world, serving as a foil to Magsarion’s ruthlessness. Khvarenah (クヴァレナフ): The Demon King who killed Varham. He is Magsarion’s ultimate mortal enemy. Magsarion’s hatred for Khvarenah is absolute; his entire existence is pointed like a blade at Khvarenah’s throat. Defeating Khvarenah (or his remnants) is a prerequisite for Magsarion to move forward. Khvarenah’s inventions (like the device that corrupted the village) are a frequent obstacle that triggers Magsarion’s most ruthless actions. Nadare (ナダレ): The final Archdemon, Sensory of the Divine Sword. Nadare is Magsarion’s final test. Defeating Nadare allows Magsarion to access the Singularity and the Throne. Nadare’s unique status as a Pseudo-Transcendence God (because she is the Sensory of a Hegemony God) makes her one of the few beings who can directly challenge Magsarion’s absolute Law-negating speed. Magsarion defeats her to complete his journey. Hajun (波旬): The 6th Heaven God. Magsarion does not interact with Hajun directly in Avesta, but his actions (killing Varham, reaching the Throne, becoming a God) set the stage for Hajun’s era. In Kajiri Kamui Kagura, Muzan’s "Remorseless Paradise" Law is completely incompatible with Hajun’s "Great Tengu Realm of Avarice." If Muzan had been the 6th Heaven God, Hajun could never have been born or would have been instantly nullified by Muzan’s superiority. This "what-if" scenario is a popular topic in fan discussions. Habaki Sakagami & Rindou Koga: In Kajiri Kamui Kagura, Muzan’s Law still lingers as a remnant. Habaki (who possesses the Tumor, Hajun’s weakness) and Rindou (Muzan’s Apoptosis via the Tumor) are the ones who actually defeat him. Because Habaki’s nature as the Tumor’s Sensory creates a "crack" in Muzan’s otherwise invincible Law, he can be harmed. Rindou’s Apoptosis can spread his influence to others, causing disturbances. Muzan’s invincibility, however, remains a legendary benchmark of absolute power in the series. Reinhard Heydrich: In Pantheon, Muzan’s "color" (the absolute speed and law-negation) is one of the few things that can rival Reinhard’s (the Golden Beast’s absolute attack and soul-conversion). Muzan and Reinhard are depicted as peerless monsters within the resurrected gods, representing the ultimate clash of the 2nd and 4th Heavens. 2.5 Abilities & Powers Magsarion possesses some of the most broken abilities in the Shinza Bansho universe, evolving from a mortal warrior to an unstoppable cosmic force.
Base State (Avesta Era):
Star Spirit Blessing (星霊の加護): The First Heaven’s unique power system. It is a blessing granted by the gods (specifically Shinga/Mitra) to select warriors. It manifests as a unique "color" for each individual, granting them superhuman physical stats, resistance, and a unique personal ability. Magsarion’s specific Star Spirit Blessing manifests as his unparalleled speed—he moves so fast he appears to teleport. This speed is not merely physical; it transcends dimensions and concepts, making him nearly untouchable to anyone not equal or superior in Taikyoku. This speed is the foundation of his combat style. Commandment (戒律): A supreme-level ability unique to the First Heaven (and later referenced in KKK/Pantheon as a universal concept). A Commandment is an absolute rule inscribed into a person’s soul by a God. It defines their existence and grants them conceptual-level power. Magsarion’s Commandment is "There is no god but me" (俺以外に神なし). This Commandment is the absolute apex of speed and conceptual negation. It renders all supernatural abilities, magic, and laws (including other Commandments) completely useless against him. If he clashes with an opponent, his Commandment automatically grows in power until it matches or surpasses the source God. However, it has a critical weakness: it cannot affect anything stronger than its source (Mitra) and is ineffective against the "Tumor" (Habaki) because the Tumor’s existence is the "crack" in Muzan’s Law, an anomaly outside his Law’s domain. As Muzan (2nd Heaven God):
Law: Remorseless Paradise of the Fallen (身代わりのない無慚樂土): As the God of the Second Heaven, Muzan’s Law is the ultimate expression of his infantile narcissism. It turns all beings into narcissistic killers who murder each other until only "self" remains. The universe becomes a hellscape of eternal slaughter where empathy, love, and connection cease to exist. It is described as a "curse that makes everyone else Srgala." Despite its horrific nature, it is an invincible Law backed by Taikyoku value 100—the highest numerical stat in the series. It prevents the existence of other gods and negates their powers, making Muzan an absolute sovereign within his universe. Masada has stated that within the framework of the Divine System, he believes no one stronger than Muzan will ever be born. Manifestation (顕現): Like all Hegemony Gods, Muzan has a Kamunagara (神威, Divine Manifestation). His Kamunagara likely manifests as the Remorseless Paradise itself—a desolate, blood-soaked landscape filled with Srgala (beasts of Muzan) endlessly slaughtering each other, with Muzan sitting at the center as the solitary, indifferent god. Weapon: He continues to wield a massive sword (often depicted as a cross or a cross-like greatsword, fitting his "God" imagery) that acts as his primary Kamunagara/weapon focus, channeling his Law of absolute speed and conceptual negation. Key Abilities Summary:
Absolute Speed: Moving faster than the concept of speed; cannot be tracked by time, space, or dimensional barriers. Unavoidable to anyone not at least equal to Muzan himself. Conceptual Negation: Can nullify any supernatural phenomenon, magic, or Law, rendering them completely useless against him. Apoptosis Immortality: As Mitra’s Apoptosis, he cannot die as long as she lives; if "killed," he simply returns to existence because the source of his soul (Mitra) still lives. *Law Manipulation (as Muzan): Overwrites reality with his Law, turning the entire universe into his Remorseless Paradise. The Law is so absolute it prevents the birth of other gods and seals away the abilities of those who challenge him. 2.6 Story Synopsis Across Eras Avesta of Black and White (First Heaven): Born into the Yazata as the brother of the hero Varham. Witnessing Varham’s death at the hands of Khvarenah breaks something inside him. He becomes a "heretic of the good side," slaughtering corrupted allies and rejecting Avesta. He takes up the Divine Sword (originally Varham’s weapon) and his unprecedented speed, becoming the Wicked Warrior. His path of extermination across the universe leads to the Singularity Angra Maniyu, where he defeats the last Archdemon, Nadare. With all life erased, the canvas is blank. He ascends to the Throne to face the Atman (Magsarion’s mother, Mitra) and his dead brother. The final battle for the First Heaven ensues. Magsarion wins, or at least succeeds in destroying the dualistic system, leading to the fall of the First Heaven and paving the way for the Second Heaven. Paradise Lost (Second Heaven): Muzan takes the Throne from the previous God (likely the remnants of the First Heaven's structure) and establishes the Second Heaven. His Law, "Remorseless Paradise of the Fallen," plunges the universe into an era of absolute narcissism and slaughter. He rules as an invincible, infantile tyrant. The era is described as a "hell" where everyone kills each other until only the "self" remains. During this time, his "mother," Mitra (as the First Heaven’s recorder), resists his Law from within the Throne, acting as the silent, fading resistance that eventually enables the heroes of Kajiri Kamui Kagura to defeat him by exploiting the "crack" in his Law (the Tumor). Kajiri Kamui Kagura (Sixth Heaven): Muzan’s Law still lingers as a remnant within the 6th Heaven. His absolute speed and conceptual negation make him a ghost that haunts the edges of the world. The Eastern Expedition (Habaki, Rindou, etc.) cannot even perceive his presence because he is transcendent to their existence—except when the "Tumor" (Habaki) creates a crack in his Law. This crack allows the heroes to bypass his invincibility. Muzan’s defeat by the Eastern Expedition marks the end of the Second Heaven and the fall of the Remorseless Paradise. Dies Irae Pantheon (Meta-Era): Muzan is resurrected alongside all past Hegemony Gods by Naraka. He is one of the ultimate threats the protagonist must face. His "color" (absolute speed/negation) is one of the few things that can contend with Reinhard Heydrich (Golden Beast) in a direct clash of Taikyoku 100. He participates in the simulation battles of past Heavens to test the protagonist, representing the pinnacle of the 2nd Heaven’s power. His role confirms him as the strongest being in the Divine System’s framework, a benchmark of absolute power within the series.
