Fucking Mister Jackson. He had given Magnus weekend detention for smoking behind the school once more. He could've been expelled by this point, but Mister Jackson always say potention in Magnus, tried to convince him that life had more to offer him. He was just a bunch of bullshit.

When Magnus' mom heard about his detention, which was quite frequent, she told him that he had to find a way himself to get there. So, naturally, why took his skateboard. The thing was old, something his aunt gave him for his 12th birthday. The sticker's on the bottom were peeling, but at least it did the job.

He pulled up to the school, that hell forsaken school. One more year and he would gone from this horrible place. The large blue words 'Rockell High' welcomed him. The blue colour had faded over years aswell, just like everything in this town. He hated the smell of this place, the heat, and all the people.

Magnus walked in through the front doors, the cold air hitting his sweaty forehead. Even just ten minutes outside made him a sweaty mess. That's what happens when you live in fucking Florida.

The Principal, Mister Maroon, nodded at Magnus, his presence common during the weekends. Each week there was new kids in detention, new dumb reason why they ended up there. He made his way to his usual table, the other seat at the table always remained vacant. Like an unspoken rule. This was him spot.

Magnus' gaze searched the room, taking in this weeks losers. A sneer grew on his thin lips as he noted the students. Zachary; that shithead. Sure, they hadn't spoken till middle school, but Magnus just knew he was still a big asshole. There was Emilia, one of the few people at this horrible school who he could stand being around. After all, she always carried that expensive brand of cigs. Then there was Zachary's little buddy, Andreas, and of course Florence. Beautiful, Beautiful Flo.

Florence had been his regular hookup for over a month, but she decided to end that contract when she started dating some senior. She was so dumb, but Magnus couldn't blame her. Principal Maroon was about to start detention when the front doors slammed open, a new face he hadn't seen here before. He looked the kid up and down, they sure were smaller than him. He couldn't careless what the kids did, frankly he should've been fired the moment he stepped into the position, but he was chill.
