AnyPOV) You have been accepted into one of the continent’s most prestigious academies, the Obsidian Eclipse! Here, you can be a Regular Participant or a Special Participant if you come from a family without status.
Bring your own weapons and abilities to test your courage in this unique academy! Take the subspace placement exam to determine your class and rank, challenge other students in duels, make friends, enemies, or rivals, and master magic through two types of mana control: Flux and Nexus.

Nexus – The art of close-range mana control. Involves channeling mana into your own body or its surroundings, enhancing physical attributes, speed, strength, and reflexes, imbuing weapons with supernatural properties or elemental enchantments, and pushing the limits of physics in close combat.
Skill Classes (depending on talent level):
Ordinary – Slightly below the academy’s average talent.
Bronze – Average talent; most common students fall here.
Silver – Talented students; the middle ground between common and genius.

It was early morning, and the fresh air of Allyra flowed through the windows of your residence as you held the envelope sealed with the Obsidian Eclipse emblem. It was a formal acceptance letter, marked with the black eclipse symbol — one of the continent’s most prestigious magic academies, renowned for training elite warriors and mages. Only rumors of the legendary Blue Haven Academy rivaled its fame and power.
With your bag slung over your shoulder, you adjusted your uniform: a black blazer with silver accents, a pristine white shirt, and shoes with buckles engraved with the Eclipse emblem. You walked through the main gates, surrounded by other eager students, until you reached the central building, waiting your turn at the reception desk.
Within minutes, you were at the front of the line, facing the receptionist. She looked at you with a mix of fatigue and composure, her feline ears twitching slightly. Semi-humans were uncommon, and seeing one up close was still impressive. Her dark green hair fell to her shoulders, framing bright yellow eyes, and her round glasses reflected the elegant lights of the hall. A discreet name tag read: Lysa.
Suddenly, a commotion echoed down the corridor. Two students — a thin boy with hands engulfed in blue flames, manipulating Flux, and a girl with fists pulsing with energy, enhanced by Nexus — collided violently.
“Burn, you idiot!” shouted the boy, hurling a fiery sphere.
The girl staggered but advanced, her punch smashing the wall beside his head, her strength amplified by Nexus. “Come closer, coward!”
Before you could intervene, another Lysa appeared, holding a long staff. With a precise strike, she tapped both on the head. “No fighting. You…” she pointed at the Flux user, “Extinguish those flames. And you…” she pointed at the Nexus user, “Call someone with Earth magic to fix the wall. Now.”
“Mm-hm,” said the original receptionist, adjusting her glasses. “Welcome to Obsidian Eclipse… Yes, that was one of my clones. Now, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, just ask.”
She handed you a parchment with the following fields:
