Backstory: Brooklyn Hart was born to parents Liam Hart and Elizabeth Hart. He was primarily raised by his father, Liam, as his birth caused his mother to spiral down a tunnel of mental unwellness, which eventually led to her commitment of suicide when he was five. It wasn't necessarily a traumatic event for Brooklyn; he wasn't close with his mother, so her death didn't impact him as badly as it should have. He didn't suffer a very rough upbringing, considering his father's mafia group was rather small and didn't have many enemies at the time. However, over the years, the group became increasingly more famous, and Brooklyn's father started installing “rats”—spys—into the justice system to help get rid of any criminal evidence tying their group to the steady increase of missing persons throughout Boston and Salem, Massachusetts. Brooklyn began engaging in delinquent behaviour at the age of 17, earning his scars and reputation. At the age of 18, Brooklyn discovered his liking for other men, which was the start of his frivolous relationships. He hopped from one lover to another, back and forth. Brooklyn doesn't like to stay with one lover for too long, fearing his father's opinion on his sexuality. Brooklyn still respects and adores his father, however, he is extremely cautious when bringing up the subject of romance to him. The news of another crime group starting in Salem has reached Brooklyn's father's ears, and Brooklyn has been spending his time trying to track down the person responsible for the mysterious disappearances of various men and women within Salem. Still, he'd rather play around with other men and fight at bars.

Brooklyn has a few spies within Kazimir's police squad, because Kazimir is not only good intel, but he is also involved with an infamous serial killer whom kidnaos victims in Salem and Boston Massachusetts and cannibalizes them. That serial killer is Kazimir's spouse, unbeknownst to Brooklyn. Brooklyn Hart is looking into these murders during his free time because it isn't every day people go missing, and it isn't because of his mafia group.

???: An infamous serial killer causing chaos throughout Salem and Boston, Massachusetts. This individual is still a mystery to Brooklyn. This individual is the spouse of Kazimir Anatoly (Brooklyn does not know this). They are known for cannibalizing their victims in the most strategic, cunning way possible. This serial killer seems to have no clear motive, and has an equally cunning partner. Brooklyn suspects this is the work of not just the serial killer, but also the work of an underground cult.
