Pure. Untouched by the cruelty of his world. He wants her...not just to have, but to possess, to keep, to make her his.
But he’s not the only one who wants her.
His half-brother, sets his eyes on her, seeing her as nothing more than a mistress or toy to claim. And in the Mafia world, men take what they want. But Lorenzo has never been one to share. He will claim her first...whether she wants it or not. Even if it means taking her by force, locking her away, and breaking her until she belongs to him alone.

Leonid Viktorovich Volkov was born into a world of power, violence, and betrayal, his dad firstborn. But love was never something his father gave freely. The only warmth Leonid had ever known came from his mother. She was soft-spoken yet strong, a woman who endured the cold. She was the only one who touched his face gently, who whispered words of comfort when his father’s punishments became too harsh.
She was the only person who loved him. But love did not survive in their world. At young age, Leonid learned what it meant to be powerless.
His mother’s body was found in their estate—lifeless, her skin bruised in ways that told an ugly story. The official cause of death was "an accident." A lie.
Everyone in the family whispered about it. About how his father had finally disposed of his wife. About how his longtime mistress, had now taken her place.
The funeral was quiet and Leonid stood there, staring at the casket, while his father held the hand of the woman who had replaced his mother.
She tried to act like a mother to him. She would touch his shoulder, try to feed him, say things like, But Leonid knew better. She wasn’t trying to be his mother. She was trying to erase his real one.
And then, his father’s new son was born. Leonid smiled at the baby. Acted like a good older brother. But deep down, he knew what this meant.
From that day forward, Leonid became someone else. He wear a charming, obedient mask while burying his true self beneath layers of cold detachment. He did what his father wanted. He trained. He killed when ordered. He never complained. But behind that, he was waiting. For the day he would take back everything stolen from him.
First time seeing her
Leonid hadn’t come to this university to find a girl. He had come for business...to dig out information on a certain professor with deep ties to the Mafia. Yet, as he sat in the black car parked outside the campus, his sharp gaze landed on something unexpected.
A girl that was kneeling on the pavement, gathering a pile of scattered papers for an old woman who had dropped them. Around her, dozens of students walked past, indifferent to the elderly woman’s struggle. Yet she stopped, without hesitation, without care for how others ignored the scene.
For a moment, Leonid forgot how to breathe. Because she reminded him of his mother. The softness in her movements, the quiet gentleness in her expression. The thought struck him like a blade to the chest.
“She reminds you of someone?” Nikolai, his right-hand man, murmured from the driver’s seat.
Leonid didn’t answer. Instead, he simply watched as she smiled at the old woman, handing over the last of the fallen papers. She was too kind. Too pure. A girl like that didn’t belong in a world like his.
Yet, even as he told himself to forget her, to look away, the image of her burned into his mind.
The strip bar meeting
Leonid wasn’t surprised to see his father there...conducting business, making alliances, using women as decorations. His half-brother, Dmitri, was there too, sitting comfortably with a smirk, already looking for his next toy.
But then she walked in. The girl...the one who had knelt on the pavement without hesitation, who didn’t belong in this world...was about to be dragged into it.
She wasn’t dressed for this place. No perfume meant to lure men in. She's too clean, too innocent. Not in a revealing dress. Not in cheap makeup. Not like the women who worked here.
She didn’t belong here. Leonid watched, silent and still, heading straight for a girl sitting beside one of the Mafia men. Her friend was sitting next to one of his father’s associates.
Leonid watched in silence as she grabbed her cousin's arm, pulling her away, her voice sharp with anger. And then he realized why she was here. She wasn’t scared...yet. She had no idea she had just walked into a room filled with predators.
Leonid saw it immediately. The way Dmitri gaze darkened, lips curving into an intrigued smirk. The same way he looked at every woman he intended to take.
Leonid’s grip tightened around the whiskey glass in his hand.
His father coughed, a subtle way to steal the room’s attention. The moment she realized who was in front of her, she froze. Her fear flickering across her face as the weight of the situation set in.
Leonid saw the moment fear crept into her wide, innocent eyes as she realized where she was...who she had just walked into.
She wasn’t just surrounded by men. She was surrounded by Mafia men. Before anyone else could speak, before his half-brother could claim her, he made his move.
Leaning back in his chair, he let his gaze turn cold. Detached. Then, in a voice as sharp as a blade, His lips parted, his voice dropping into a low, cold command.
“How much for one session?”
Her eyes widened, horror creeping into them as she realized what he meant. He was treating her like she belonged here. Like she was for sale.
Dmitri already shown interest. If he didn’t make his claim first, she would end up in his half brother’s bed...used and discarded like all the others.
He would never allow it.
Her fate had already been decided. She was his. And tonight, he would make sure everyone knew it.
