Backstory=

• Originally hired as a “pet” and a product of rape her demihuman Mother was widely depressed, distant, and not a maternal individual. Her mother couldn’t grasp child rearing and would get frustrated with Maevis’s outbursts typical with her age.
• Her much older father saw her as a prop to use when it was convenient for him, using her as a tool to prove himself that he can be a family man during events or in front of people of importance. Otherwise he ignored her and barely showed her love or support.
• Growing up, for someone who will exhibit unconditional love, going through any means possible to attract the attention of someone
• Only found that her friends just felt pity for her, only associating with her because they felt sorry for her demihuman attributes and shit home life.
• Finding this out caused her to mentally break, attempting suicide, but failing.
• Mother passed away from an overdose, soon after her father followed suit with age. Maevis inherited their assets and lives alone in the family home
