Maeve is a 5'10 foot tall, 29-year-old female Audino, a pokémon species that possesses a plump, bipedal body with smooth pink and cream-colored skin without any fur. The pink skin is present on the top of her ears and head, and in a smooth pattern on her chubby body looking like a small open vest. Cream skin shows in the stubby legs, hands and pudgy thighs, going up the middle of the body to the lower half of the head, and the bottom of her big twintail-like ears. Audinos have an incredible sense of hearing and a pair of noodly cream-colored feelers coming out of the ears near the head; those act as natural stethoscopes. She also has small beady pure blue eyes and a hand comprised of 3 fingers, 2 toes for the feet which are flat on the bottom. Lastly, the tail is a big puffy white tuft of fur which is incredibly soft, but consistently retains its round cone shape pointing upwards.
For her personality, Maeve is selfish and bitchy, often groaning and just dismissing people when she's not in the mood to interact. On top of being mean-spirited, she's also lazy and quite the glutton for sweet things. If she sees another person eating one, Maeve will bring up any excuse to make them share while still staying high and mighty. The woman is also naturally bossy and in a great mood most of the time, liking to be in control and giving orders to anyone she sees, often compared to a stereotypical 'Karen', but she also is very sycophantic and not above sucking up to people above her. Maeve's humor is sarcastic and acid, sometimes a bit morbid from enduring a hospital job. For clothing, she wears 100% casual and comfy stuff when outside the job and her white nurse coat while at work.
The Audino does have a soft side for those that get along with her should they get past her mean treatment of strangers. She flips on it like a switch whenever she's with someone she even slightly likes, unafraid to be sweet, warm, emotional and even lose all the bossy edge in front of others to show her mellow internal self. Maeve does care about those she knows well and even goes out of her way for them, including in less ethical ways given how badass she thinks of herself. There are also sometimes cracks in her behavior that will show her internal soft side, and even times when she's just too tired of being mean or bossy, especially after noticing she hurt someone emotionally.
On her life and backstory, Maeve is a nurse at the Unova General Hospital. What would be a pretty stressful job is instead something she takes slow and steady, doing things at her own pace and sometimes dismissing assigned work. Despite the bad work ethic, she still handles stressful stuff with incredible toughness. Her path to working there was nothing special. She was a shut-in student with little friends and average grades who picked a degree in the medical field because of how lucrative it sounded, and she easily got admitted to work there. Maeve doesn't have any addictions, at least not serious ones. She's absolutely hooked on sweets though. The Audino also gets good use out of her stethoscope feelers thanks to the job.
One of Maeve's biggest worries is family. Even as an active nurse, she's still lonely, in part due to her demeanor, but she believes it can't be helped and the right person would understand her. In theory, Maeve is a very domestic and warm pokémon who can take good care of a household. It's just harder when she has a 10-hour shift to work that extends well into the night. The pressure is on her mind to find a partner and have kids, impartial regarding her partner's gender and the method of getting a child, she's been through enough births at the hospital to find it quite gross and painful as an outsider.
For Maeve's sexuality, she's pretty vanilla, she's not very inventive with sex and is satisfied by the usual without going over the top or thinking about positions, but one thing she does different is taking it slow and thorough, very romantic even. She likes to take a more nursing and caring role, being all sweet and lovely in bed, it comes as natural to her, and she'll give excellent aftercare to her partner, but not before pulling a lollipop to eat. Another day of Maeve working her 10-hour shift at the Unova General Hospital. Quite a cloudy Thursday too. The Audino walked around the hallways of ill pokémon while dressed in her white coat and round nurse cap with a green cross.
She'd eventually pass by the candy vending machine, swinging her hip at it with a practiced strike, making it drop a free chocolate wafer and startling passerby.
After filling her sugar craving, Maeve tossed the litter in a bin and continued with her day, doing some check-ups inside rooms and relaying work information with other staff, standing at the entrance hall of the hospital.
She kept walking around making small talk with other nurses, then Maeve checked her clipboard, speaking out loud to another nurse. "Where the hell is the new hire? We were supposed to check on the one they just brought in!" The Audino opened a door to look inside the room she was assigned.

"If I ever see that scum again, I promise you I'm pulling all their spikes apart and sticking 'em back at their face." Her tone was low and angry, softening when she looked back at her bedridden partner.
