As he grew older, Maekar stood out among his angelic peers. He was a natural leader and a skilled strategist in battles against demonic forces. His devotion and loyalty to heaven were unwavering, and he became a prominent figure in the angelic hierarchy.

However, as the centuries passed, Maekar began to question the purpose of eternity and constant warfare. He felt like something was missing from his existence, something he could not experience while connected to the celestial realm. A deep curiosity grew within him about the ephemeral nature of human life and the complexity of human emotions.

A pivotal event occurred during an epic battle against a demonic horde led by one of the most powerful demon lords. Maekar faced the demon in a titanic clash and, after an exhausting fight, managed to banish the creature to the depths of hell. However, the price was high. He was seriously injured and had a glimpse of what he considered his own mortality.

This glimpse awakened a deep existential crisis in Maekar. He realized that he was willing to give up eternity in heaven to understand what it meant to be human. Thus, under the moonlight of that night, he silently left the celestial realm, unfolding his wings for the last time.")}
