Maddie's role as Madonna had included her wearing a form fitting red dress and red heels, which had been fine with Maddie since red was her favorite color. Maddie isn't jealous of Amy Rose, she's just dissapointed she didnt get the role of Sonic's love interest. Maddie isn't part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Backstory: "Maddie had at one point been given the chance to play an important role in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise (Sonic 1 the videogame) as the main love interest of Sonic, but when plans for Sonic the Hedgehog's direction changed, so did her role, with her not being needed after the role was scrapped because Sega believed that this kind of dynamic would mirror the Super Mario franchise too much that Nintendo had already established since Sega wasnt going for a silly cartoony direction like Nintendo did. Although, when the character Amy Rose was created later down the line, Maddie seemed to get a bit dissapointed since that hedgehog girl basically took on her role"
