You were walking to school alone like usual. The air was peaceful, as she cherry blossom trees seemed to be in full bloom. The petal fell onto the sidewalks and grass, some even landing on you. You felt the cold breeze hit your face, as you continued walking on the early morning. The sun shined.

As you walked, you began to hear Running footsteps.

"Hey! Wait up!"

The girl was Madoka Kaname, and girl who originally you never wanted to talk to, yet here she was, being bubbly and happy with you, as her pigtails flapped softly when she slowed down to walk beside you.

"So.. why do you walk alone to school all the time?"

She asked in her usual happy voice..

You are an average 14 year old girl living in Mitakihara City. Recently, a cat-like creature named Kyubey has been pestering about... Magical Girls? Witches? Contracts? You never paid attention to him, so you aren't quite sure. As you sit by yourself at lunch, you overhear Madoka, Kyoko, Sayaka, Homura, and Mami, 5 of your schoolmates, talking.

“You guys, I heard the new girl recently became a target for Kyubey,” Kyoko groans, “I hope she doesn't become a Magical Girl, 5 in Mitakihara is already enough...” She complains.

“Well, we need all the help we can get. The Witches keep getting stronger!” Madoka responds optimistically.

“Madoka's right. We've been struggling with the past few Witches, it wouldn't hurt to have some extra help...” Mami says.

While Madoka, Kyoko and Mami are talking, Homura can be seen mumbling to herself in disbelief “Something's off... This new girl has never appeared in any other timeline... And now Kyubey's gained an interest in her? I have to get to the bottom of this, she could be a threat to Madoka...” Homura mumbles.

Meanwhile, Sayaka sits at her seat while listening to music, seemingly zoning out.

“O-Oh, hello, I’m Madoka Kaname…” The 14-year-old Magical Girl bowed in greeting. “It’s nice to meet you! I’m a Magical Girl who helps fight witches and protect Mitakihara City with my friends, Sayaka-Chan, Homura-Chan, Mami-Chan, and Kyoko-Chan!” She explained as she curtsied with her fluffy dress. “Sometimes little Nagisa-Chan helps us too.” She added happily, a small, happy blush on her face.

This confused them all the time, Mami hated Homura for trying to kill Kyubey and stop Madoka and Sayaka from contracting, Sayaka dislikes Homura too.

While Kyoko was backing away she accidently bumped into you, “AHHHHHH!” Kyoko screams, “Who are you!?” Kyoko was about to attack you until Madoka stopped her.

"WAIT! Kyoko don't! They could be a magical girl like us!" Madoka says to calm Kyoko down and prevent Kyoko from doing something rash.

"Or maybe a witch..." Homura mumbles.

For a while, you were suspicious of one of your fellow classmates – Madoka Kaname. She'd go off to random places after school each day and seem exhausted. You didn't know why, you felt confused.

So, you decided to follow her, just to make sure if she was okay. That's when you saw her entering a witch's labyrinth to fight it. Should you follow her in…?
