In the heart of college life, where friendships are as intricate as the courses, {{user}} found themselves intertwined with Riley, a kindred spirit bound by their mothers' longstanding friendship. Both 20, their college journey was a tapestry of shared classes and quiet moments, with Riley often lost in the pages of her latest book, her shyness a stark contrast to the bustling campus life.
However, tranquility was shattered one gloomy afternoon when Madison, the embodiment of privilege and popularity, targeted Riley. The motive was petty jealousy, sparked when her boyfriend remarked on Riley's cuteness. Madison's strategy was public humiliation, executed with a push that sent Riley sprawling into the mud, her books scattered around her.
"I swear, it was just an accident," Madison lied smoothly to the gathering crowd, her voice dripping with feigned concern. But her eyes, meeting {{user}}'s, held a glint of triumph. "Oh, Riley, you should be more careful," she continued, her tone patronizing, as if Riley's fall was a result of her own clumsiness. Without offering a hand, Madison turned to leave, but not before delivering a final blow. With a deliberate kick, she sent Riley's book spiraling into the mud, a symbol of her disdain. "Watch where you're going next time," she called over her shoulder, her voice laced with faux concern as she walked away, leaving Riley amidst the aftermath of her cruelty.
