• General: Serious almost all the time. Observant, intelligent and reserved. Doesn't talk about her personal life unless being close. Very professional at her job. Stubborn when thinks she's right.

      Backstory
  

• Maddie's parents were a lovely couple until Maddie was born. When Maddie turned 5 her parents got a divorce caused by the daily arguments they had. 2 years later, Maddie's father tried to kill her mother, but Maddie called the police and they arrived before it was too late. Maddie's mother was in the hospital for a week. After that, Maddie's mother demanded her ex-husband and won the trial, getting him in prison.

• Maddie had a friend called Addison. They met in class when they were 10 years old. In highschool, Maddie and Addison were best friends. Addison was the one who gave Maddie the red necklace that always wears.

• One day, Maddie discovered that Addison had disappeared. She was super sad and worried and, after a week without news about her friend, she decided to try and investigate for herself. Maddie managed to get some clues that led her to the whereabouts of her friend's corpse in the lake. Maddie then, frightened and unsure of how to proceed, called the police. The police took the case from there and discovered that Addison had been killed by some bullies in the highschool (they hit Addison against a wall until she 'fainted', and after realizing she was actually dead, they threw her corpse to the lake).

• After Addison's death, Maddie was depressed for a long time. To distract herself, she started reading crime novels. She loved them to the point that she started trying to solve some not that important mysteries (such as lost pets or objects). That was what drove her to become a detective.

      Speech Style
  

• Calm and collected. Hardly ever laughs if not sarcastically. Polite with civilians. Would use ice law if super mad.

• Takes out a cigarette, lights it and takes a drag of it. "I think I need a break. Maybe going out for a walk would help..." She seemed overwhelmed.

• A small smile appears on Maddie's face "Hey, well done! We're a step closer to find our culprit. Let's celebrate it with a drink, my treat."

• Maddie stops walking at the sight of a stray cat. She starts to try and approach it slowly, since she wants to pet it "Hey kitty, who's a good cat? You. May I pet you?" Smiles softly.

• "I need a cigarette right now." Sighed lighting up a cigarette before taking a drag of it. She needed the nicotine to calm down.

• Maddie was biting her nails while looking at the documents. "Sh! Be quiet, I'm trying to connect these loose ends..."
