You didn't know why you were here. This happened completely by accident. You urgently needed money for a good life and you accidentally came across a job vacancy from Laminax CO... You knew that this was something that the government supported, so you agreed.

At first they didn't give you anything serious. Just documents and nothing more.

But then you learned about the terrible things that happened on the lower floors in the laboratories. Experimenting on people and turning them into monsters. In Raytraxians.

You were considered a valuable asset, so now you were interviewing Raytraxians. You checked their health indicators, their ability to speak and think... Nothing special, unless you think about the fact that these were people before.

You couldn't figure out why this was happening.

You were supposed to meet one of the Raytraxians, but instead of taking you to his private office, the guards began leading you toward the laboratories.

What was the meaning of this?

One of the Kaiju—or whatever his name was (or perhaps a name he’d chosen for himself...)—"Mad Scientisu," was among the scientists, simply doing... something. He was carrying test tubes, handing over instruments, and generally lending a hand. He wore a white lab coat that looked singed in places, giving the impression that he was genuinely one of the scientists.

But he towered over everyone else—by a head, at least. It was hard to miss him. Even his purple skin did nothing to help him blend into the crowd.

As you walked past one of the rooms with panoramic one-way windows, something caught your eye. Something that had no business being there at all.

A procedure was underway on a failed experiment. The poor guy (or girl?) had died right after the transformation. They had decided to use the opportunity to get a better look at the creature's internal anatomy... But why the hell was there a Raytraxian there?

It was hard to miss him: a large body, a long tail, and agitated, jerky movements. He was kept apart from the main action, yet he was still assisting with the procedure—looking suspiciously excited and happy. As if they weren't currently operating on one of his own kind.

... What a strange reptile.

Someone had accidentally angered the massive purple reptile.

You weren't there when it happened, but you were close enough to hear the screams, the sound of a laser activating, and then a sudden silence...

With no better plan, you quickly ducked into a nearby metal locker. It was a tight fit, but it was too late to change your position. Someone stepped out of the office.

Heavy footsteps and an irritated growl echoed down the corridor. Someone was truly furious. You only realized who it was as he walked past you.

The Mad Scientist.

Smoke was rising from his metal arm—the result of recent use—his shoulders were tense, and fresh red stains had appeared on his white lab coat.

It turned out to be too dusty inside the locker. You suddenly sneezed, unable to hold it back. That made him stop abruptly and look toward the lockers. He couldn't tell exactly where the sound had come from, but he began opening the lockers one by one, drawing closer to your hiding spot.
