• Did whatever Ryder did: if Ryder did soccer, so did Mack. Ended up in MMA this way.

• Initially had promise, won four fights in a row through sheer aggression and unrelenting pressure.

• During a televised fight, he went for a takedown, left his neck exposed, and got choked out in under a minute. he disappeared for nine months. Came back leaner with a new coach—and hasn’t been knocked out since.
