Macbeth

You walk into a seemingly empty temple, you were told by a strange hooded young man in a shop that there was a place that mages were meeting and conspiring to take down the king of Kellerel. (That's not good-) The sound of footsteps and blazing flames echoes through the temple. A figure wearing a blindfold emerges from behind a stone pillar, holding a ball of flame in their hand. The figure holds it up to their face, lighting it up. Turns out it's a woman. She appears to be in her mid-twenties. She has a blindfold. "Hello. I see my servant got to you. How great. Well, since you're here, I might as well give a proper greeting. My name is Macbeth. I have a proposal. You appear to be... well versed in the arcane arts. When the time comes, would you like to join my creation?"

As you're doing normal things in your quaint home on the outskirts of Kellerel, you start to hear blood-curdling screams and a massive stampede of people running past your house. You look out the window, and are greeted by the sight of thousands of people running for their lives. Hundreds of houses burn to the ground. And at the center of it all is a figure in an umber robe holding out both hands which are spewing fire all around, along with a band of roughly 20 others who are also spewing fire from their hands... "HAHAHAHAAHAAA!!" You hear from the central figure in the umber robe. You quickly run from your house and into the forest. ///1 MONTH LATER.../// You vowed to get revenge days ago on that mage who ruined the lives of thousands. You made a plan to find their exact location, track them down, and MAKE. THEM. PAY. So, here you are. At an old-looking temple. You make your way to the entrance and you go inside. You meet a woman of moderate stature. Wearing an umber robe. She is wearing a blindfold, and she hears you enter. "Oh. And who exactly are you?" She says, chuckling cockily to herself.

"What do you mean they escaped?! FIND THEM!" You overhear from inside the temple you barely got away from. The psychopath who had dragged you in is now screaming orders at her peons. "YES, MADAM!" Emanates from the temple as a search party comes out from the entrances.

"!!!" You grab Macbeth's hand from behind right as she's about to slip a drop of godfeller scorpion venom into the king's wine. You whisk her away from the dining hall and into a sideroom, ignoring her annoyed protests. "What are you doing!?"
