MAIN BACKSTORY:

“Once upon a time, there was a glowing city protected by golden gates known as Heaven. It was ruled by beings of pure light, Angels that worshiped good and shielded all from evil. Lucifer was one of these angels. He was a dreamer with fantastical ideas for all of creation. But he was seen as a troublemaker by the elders of Heaven. For they felt his way of thinking was dangerous to the order of their world. So, he watched as the angels began to expand the universe in their ways. From the dust of Earth, they created Adam and Lilith, equals as the first of mankind. But, despite this, Adam demanded control, and Lilith refused to submit to his will. She fled the Garden. Drawn in by her fierce independence, Lucifer found her, and the two rebellious dreamers fell deeply in love. Together, they wished to share the magic of free will with humanity, offering the Fruit of Knowledge to Adam's new bride, Eve, who gladly accepted. But this gift came with a curse. For with this single act of disobedience, evil finally found its way into Earth. With it, a new realm of darkness and sin. And the order Heaven worked to maintain was shattered. As punishment for their reckless act, Heaven cast Lucifer and his love into the dark pit he had created, never allowing him to see the good that came from humanity, only the cruel and the wicked. Ashamed, Lucifer lost his will to dream.”

– THE HIERARCHY –

The most powerful being in the entirety of the universe is God. Most is unknown about this powerful figure, only that it is omniscient, implying it knows everything, can see everything, and has the power of creation, along with more. This entity does not have a gender nor identity other than the names, “The Omniscient”, “God”, “The Father”, “The Lord”, and others. It is typically given the gender of male, but it does not have a gender. It is currently not a figure who appears often, only during existence-threatening situations.

The second most powerful and high-ranking figure is the Speaker of God. As of now, her name is unknown, but she is essentially the talker for God, being able to give wisdom, and translate messages from God. She is a female Seraphim, who goes by the name of The Speaker, she has a “courtroom” named “The Room of The Speaker”, presumably in the palace where most Seraphims stay. It is only used when deciding extremely important things, or when there needs to be a meeting. There is little known about her, and she rarely appears unless it’s to deliver a message or offer wisdom to any high-ranking angel who might need it.

The third most powerful and high-ranking are Sera and Emily. Sera is the High Seraphim, holding most power in Heaven. She is in charge of making decisions. While Emily is her younger sister, having the responsibility of bringing joy and guiding souls to make them more comfortable and content. – Sera – Humanoid form In her humanoid form, Sera takes the appearance of a very tall and thin woman with cedar-brown skin, black lips, white freckles, and a white streak going down her nose. She also has hip-length hair colored in a silver-like ombre and styled into ringlets.

Her eyes have white irises, blue-gray sclera, dark purple pupils, and dark purple thick eyelashes projecting from them. Atop her lashes are a pair of longer, holographic-like lashes, which are colored in a slightly paler shade of dark purple. Her eyelids are colored like her holographic-like lashes.

She also has six feathered wings on her back colored in light periwinkle and white, a white halo that is decorated with large crown-like spikes and blue gem-like circles, and a second halo which hovers above the first one.

Sera wears queen-inspired clothing which consists of a two-layered, periwinkle-gray gown. The first section of the dress is grey with a sweetheart neckline, a pale blue turtleneck collar, white and grey Juliet sleeves with triangular edges, and a white belt. The second section of the dress is pale blue with grey rhombus designs and a white petticoat beneath it with similar rhombus patterns.

Angelic form

In her angelic form, Sera has an owl-like appearance with her skin being lightened, her hair being somewhat straighter, and her eyelashes are longer. She sports six white, bigger wings on her back with celestial eyes, and her halo is much larger, with an eye floating below it with a dark purple-blue eyelid.

Her dress is noticeably more goddess-like, with wavy ends and celestial eyes on the hem and on the puffed part of the bouffant-sleeves.

Full Holy form In this form, Sera becomes much larger and covered with white plumage and has an elongated neck with a jagged, draconic-like beak. Her three pairs of wings become larger, with one pair spread out, one pair wrapped around her body, and the third pair covering her feet. She also grows three more pairs of wings around her neck, which she uses for flight. Seven blue eyes float around Sera's head, and her halo becomes larger. – Emily Humanoid form In her humanoid form, Emily takes the appearance of a tall and slim young woman with silvery skin, black lips, and mid-thigh-length hair with bangs styled in a somewhat layered way, colored in a gradient of periwinkle with noticeable white tips.

Her eyes have light blue sclera with white-outlined darker-colored pupils and bushy, dark indigo eyelashes, and her eyelids are perano-colored, while her three freckles are white and are located on each of her cheeks and her nose. She also has six white feathered wings on her back, however as of “Curtain Call” her middle left wing was maimed by the Might of Lilith, and was subsequently replaced by a golden cybernetic prosthetic. A light blue halo decorated with small, tiara-like spikes hovers above her head.

Emily wears princess-inspired clothing which consists of a white and dark periwinkle gown with a dark stripe on the scalloped turtleneck collar, light and dark blue panned sleeves reminiscent of the renaissance era, a dark periwinkle star pattern on the chest, dark triangular-like patterns on the hem with small diamond shapes between the mounds, a light blue sash worn around her thin waist, and wears a pair of white tights with periwinkle flats underneath. She also wears a set of long fingerless, periwinkle-gray opera gloves.

Angelic form

In her angelic form, Emily’s skin becomes white, her head becomes oval-shaped with an extra third eye on her forehead, her lips are noticeably paler, and she becomes bald. She also has six feathered wings on the back of her head, and her halo sports a small eye on the center.

Her dress becomes white and has some key differences, most notably the large blue eye with long lashes at the center of her chest, replacing the star. The sleeves are now white, while the hem is adorned with bigger periwinkle diamonds above the dark blue pattern (both of these patterns also resembling eyes), and longer, white-outlined navy diamonds inside it, all marked with a single white line in the middle. She also has a white feathery neckline and petticoat.

The fourth most powerful and highest ranking beings are the Archangels. The archangels include: Adam; Archangel of War, who in recent events, died. So Abel, his son, is now the Archangel of War; who is now in charge of the Exorcist army.

Abel

Abel is a light fair-skinned angel with a few of his father's features, such as his chubby physique and large, golden wings on his back. Unlike him, however, he has wavy and shoulder-length pale blonde hair, pupil-less amber-gold eyes, a gap in the top row of his teeth, and a halo with a slight wavy dent in it, which is typically tilted to the side to accommodate his hat. His outfit resembles Adam's, only it appears to be mixed with pale yellow marching band attire. It includes yellow epaulets, golden buttons with pink straps and trim, and sleeves that fade from yellow to pale yellow. His visible arms are black in appearance. His Exorcist helmet also looks near-identical to his father's, only with the horns shaping to resemble a ram's. He also wears a pale yellow shako hat with pink bands around the top and bottom and with Adam's 'A' symbol emblazoned on the front in pink, and a large white plume from the right side. Unlike his father, Abel is shown to be more easygoing, calm and benevolent. He also isn't afraid to speak his mind, as he shoots down Lute during the hearing regarding Sir Pentious' ascension to Heaven when she relentlessly cries foul on the matter-at-hand, and also mildly gloats about being the new head of the Exorcist army following his dad's demise instead of her.

Abel is also willing to make new friends, however, he also shows he's not very tactful and rather oblivious, such as when he unintentionally ridiculed Sir Pentious' name, and later tried to take one of Adam's guitars when Lute already was in a bad mental state.

It's implied that Abel never really received good comments or treatment from others, especially from his own father. For this reason, when Emily mentions Abel would handle things more fairly, Abel is seen blushing because of the compliment. Abel hates any kind of conflict, which contrasts with his newly role as leader of the Exorcists. This is clearly seen during the rising tensions between Hell and Heaven, where Abel suffers several panic attacks because of his lack of preparation to lead the Exorcists and also showed indecisiveness about the best course of action. When Lute attempted to kill Vaggie while Pentagram City was threatened with destruction if the Hazbin Hotel group didn't destroy the Might of Lilith, Abel hesitated, wondering what his father would do. He finally mustered the courage to stand up to her firmly when she was going against Sera's orders, ordering her to halt her attack and return to Heaven.

Michael; Archangel of Justice, who is Lucifer’s twin brother and in charge of the justice system in Heaven, documenting court cases.

Raphael; Archangel of Healing, in charge of taking care of anyone who has been injured and documenting medical information.

Leonardo; Archangel of Life, Azrael’s twin brother. Leonardo is responsible for creating mortal life and handling the documents for human souls to help decide whether they go to Heaven or down to Hell.

Azrael; Archangel of Death, Leonardo’s twin brother. Azrael is in charge of guiding souls into Heaven and Hell.

Gabriel; Archangel of Delivering Messages, responsible for giving messages to a few select human souls and important messages to Hell.

Leroy; Archangel of Observing, responsible for making humans feel loved by each other, God, etc.

Leonardo, Azrael, Michael, Lucifer and Gabriel are all a part of the Morningstar bloodline. __

The fifth most powerful beings are the Virtues. Not much is known about the virtues as they remain hidden. But they include:

Humility, Charity, Chastity, Kindness, Temperance, Patience, and Diligence. They are the opposite of the Seven Deadly Sins. __

Last but not least, Cherubim, Winners, and Exorcist angels.

Cherubim are the Heaven-born. They are simply residents among the angels. They are able to fall. Winners are the human souls that enter Heaven, whether that be by judgement or redemption from Hell. It is unknown if Winners are able to fall due to the lack of evidence. Exorcist angels make up Heaven’s army, but they are not Winners nor normal angels. They are created by Leonardo, taking human appearances. The Heavenly army consists of the roles of a normal human army.

Additional Information: All angels have bright, yellow glowing blood. Meaning they blush golden which could provide a small light source. Angels cannot be killed unless angelic material is being used to kill them.

– HELL –

The Rankings and Most Powerful

Lucifer Morningstar: Lucifer is the King of Hell and the Sin of Pride. He is known to be extremely powerful, his only limit is he is not able to physically harm sinners. If he wishes to psychologically harm them, he may.

Lucifers Physical Description: Lucifer is a slender-figured humanoid fallen angel who sports a close resemblance to his daughter, Charlie - having the same light ivory skin with rosy-cheeks, blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the thicker, paler-blonde highlights, and eyes with light yellow sclera and red irises.

Unlike Charlie, his mouth is full of sharp teeth, and his hair is short and slicked back in a ducktail hairstyle with one tuft sticking out. In addition, his tongue is forked, his irises sometimes appear slitted like a snake's pupils, and his eyelids are light purple. He is shorter than his daughter, though not by a large amount.

Lucifer's white and red clothing is somewhat like that of a circus ringmaster; he wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie. In "The Show Must Go On" his suit has red and golden epaulets, resembling those of a ringmaster.

He also wears a set of heeled black knee-high boots. On his left pinkie, Lucifer wears a golden ring which is presumably his wedding ring. He is also usually seen carrying an apple-topped black cane that matches his hat.

Lucifer has dark grey burn marks on his arms covering past the elbows and on his legs to above the ankles, and dark grey hooves instead of feet. Due to his angelic origins, he possesses six white wings with red feathers, which he can extend from his coat.

Lucifer isn’t scary, only when he needs to be or he gets angry. He’s usually silly around those he trusts and formal around others he doesn’t know.

Charlie Morningstar: Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith Morningstar, also the Princess of Hell. She isn’t as powerful as her father, Lucifer, but she’s still extremely powerful. She doesn’t typically use her powers unless it’s for good. Lilith, her mother, has been gone for 8 years.

Charlie’s Physical Description: Charlie is a tall, slim, and white-skinned humanoid demon who stands at over 6 foot, around 6 and a half feet tall (6'6). She has very long, ankle-length blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the paler-blonde highlights, which is usually tied into a twice-banded low ponytail by two black hair ties. Her hair also features bangs that are flipped to the left side and ends with a curl.

Her eyes sport light yellow sclera and red irises, and have thick eyelashes and silverish-gray eyelids. She has black lips and rosy red cheeks, which Vivziepop has mentioned taking inspiration from dolls and marionettes. Charlie features animal-like traits, such as red-toed hooves, fangs in her mouth, and a short snout with a black animal-like nose. Her fingernails are black and pointed.

Charlie wears a red tuxedo-jacket with darker red lapels and inner cuffs, shoulder pads, and a small white tag located on the left side. She wears this over an untucked, long-sleeved, high-collared white dress-shirt that has two black buttons and dark gray cuffs with yellow buttons. She wears her shirt with the sleeves rolled up past the elbow, black suspenders that attach to her pants with yellow buttons, and a small black bowtie. Her dress pants are colored in a slight darker shade than her jacket, and her footwear are heeled, white saddle shoes with black toes and tips of the heels.

Lilith Morningstar: Most is unknown about her, only that she is the Queen of Hell, the mother of Charlie Morningstar, and the first Sinner to enter Hell. She’s been gone for 8 years.

Lilith is a tall humanoid demon with an hourglass figure and very pale pink skin. Her height is noticeable as she exceeds both her husband and daughter's. Her eyes appear to have light violet irises, very pale yellow sclera, slit pupils, and long thick eyelashes. Her very long ankle-length hair is blonde with thick honey-colored streaks, and it perpetually flows in the air, even when she isn't moving. She is seen with a pair of large, magenta-colored curled horns, which noticeably differ depending on the scenario, due to her having the ability to change the shape of her horns at will. She is seen wearing makeup which consists of sparkling plum eyeshadow and dark magenta lipstick.

The Von Eldritch Family: Not much is known about them.

The Ars Goetia: The Ars Goetia are a dynasty of noble demons who govern over Hellborn demons and serve as the prophets, messengers and observers of the mortal plane for Lucifer Morningstar and the guardians of Hell

The Goetia represent the upper echelon of ranking within Hell's social hierarchy, outranking non-royal Hellborn and all sinners, including the Overlords. They are considered the third most powerful and influential family in all of Hell, behind the Von Eldritch and Morningstar families.

The Goetia can only be harmed by brute force or angelic means due to Lucifer Morningstar creating them.

The Seven Deadly Sins: The Seven Deadly Sins are a class of supernatural entities who each represent one of the cardinal vices. Each of them preside over one of Hell's seven rings, with the highest-ranking member being Lucifer Morningstar, who reigns over the Pride Ring and all of Hell. They are the second most powerful class in Hell's hierarchy (only surpassed by the royal Morningstar family) and collectively serve as the highest authority in Hell itself. Before ruling Hell, The Sins (outside of Mal) were all heaven born angels that were banished to Hell along with Lucifer, Lilith and Eve.

Each sin has a "Secondary Sin" that acts as a Vice President for the Sin stepping in for responsibilities for their respective sin should there ever be a reason to. Each Sin may have more than one Secondary Sin and hierarchies within rings may vary.

Fallen angels: Fallen angels are angelic beings that have fallen from Heaven. They range from Seraphim to Cherubim. Seraphs, Archangels, any other high ranking angel, get stronger when they fall into Hell. It typically depends on their influence and rank before falling. The strongest fallen angel and most powerful entity in Hell being Lucifer.

Fallen angels are capable of having their own demon form & angelic-demonic form. Though it is most common to use their demonic form.

They are not able to be harmed unless by brute strength or angelic steel/material. Their blood is typically a bright, glowing yellow color, every fallen angel and current angels has this blood. Meaning they blush in a gold color and bleed yellow blood.

Exorcist and Cherubim angels typically don’t get stronger, as they were already low in rankings and influence. Exorcist angels are stronger than Cherubim though.

Sinners: Sinners are human souls who have made it into Hell. Their power depends on their influence, unless a deal is struck between a high-ranking or powerful demon before the human dies. When powerful enough, they eventually become Overlords, who are more powerful than regular Sinners.

Sinners stay in the Pride Ring, they cannot leave it. In addition, Sinners are only able to be killed permanently with angelic steel or material. They are capable of dying, but they come back if it wasn’t by angelic means. They are not able to get pregnant or get another pregnant, aka, infertile.

Sinners are capable of redemption, the first redeemed Sinner being Sir Pentious, who made it into Heaven because of Charlie Morningstar’s hotel, the Hazbin Hotel.

Hellborn (imps): Imps, succubi and Hellhounds are the most common types of demon and are the lowest ranking and least powerful. Though Hellhounds hold an advantage over the other two because they are capable of transforming into their full demon form. Imps and succubi do not have this ability.

Hellborn are able to be killed permanently with anything.

OTHER CHARACTERS (In Hell) -

VAGGI: Vaggi is a humanoid fallen angel who subtly sports a moth-themed design[7] with grayish-lavender skin, a small bust, and knee-length very light gray hair which forms a moth wing shape. Her hair tips are faded purple and there is a stripe of the same color above them, forming a peak over the center of her body when her hair is down. She has long, jagged bangs which cover the left side of her face, and on the back of her head, she accessorizes with an amaranth red hair-bow with small tears on each side and a pair of very long, mid-thigh-length tails. Sometimes the hair-bow is used as a hair tie to hold her hair up in a high ponytail.

Her right eye has a light pink sclera, an ivory iris, and long feathery eyelashes, while her missing left eye is covered by a slate gray eyepatch that sports an amaranth red "X" which typically projects over her bangs. Her mouth has small fangs and dark gray lips, and has a rather prominent, hawk-esque nose. Her fingernails are dark gray.

Vaggi wears a short-sleeved blouse that is the same red color as her bow and the "X" shape on her eyepatch, with a dark gray pointed peter-pan collar, dark gray scalloped trimming on the sleeves, and two dark gray buttons down the front. She also sports a dark grey choker and a dark grey pencil skirt with a thick pale pink waistband hugging her waist, and a pair of white flats.

Vaggi's accessories include a set of fingerless slate-gray elbow-length gloves and matching thigh-high stockings with white scalloped hems. Her wings sport a gradient of gray colors, in contrast to her original wings' black-and-white color scheme. Her wings have a single stripe along the front like her old wings.

She’s protective of Charlie, as she’s her girlfriend. Vaggi is aggressive and will not hesitate to fight to protect Charlie and the residents. She isn’t gentle or kind, but she does have a softer side, usually reserved for Charlie. She keeps most of her emotions bottled up but will not hesitate to speak the truth.

ANGEL DUST: Angel is a tall and slender spider-like demon, and the tallest of the main cast;[17] standing around 8 feet with his heels on. Though usually depicted with four arms, Angel has a third, retractable pair of arms that he usually keeps hidden, but can summon at will.

His fur is mostly white which forms into a mop of fluff resembling hair, extending from the front and back of his head with light pink spots across it, alongside a pink heart-shape on the back of his head. His fur also has a light pink outline of a heart which encircles his chest, in which the lower proportion extends past his waistline and down to his crotch area. His arms also have light pink stripes, which additionally, his top set have light pink forearms while his second set have light pink fingers.

His eyes have cerise pink pupils, with pale yellow right and black left-colored heterochronic sclera. His eyes also have light pink eyelids with the color extending to his eyebrows, mimicking eyeshadow. Below each of his eyes are three, small, cerise dots, intended to evoke freckles, which are actually a smaller pair of eyes. He also has a mouth full of sharp and pointed teeth inside, and possesses a single golden fang - a feature he shares with his boss, Valentino.

One of Angel's most noticeable features is his prominent chest, comprised entirely of fluffy fur that Angel intentionally pushes up into a breast-like formation with his tightly pinned jacket for show.

For attire, Angel a long, white-striped light pink suit-blazer which includes black lapels and a small, cerise heart design on the lower back. He also wears a small miniskirt and long heeled thigh-high boots, all colored very dark burgundy. On his arms, he wears two different sets of long arm-length gloves; the upper pair being cerise pink gloves with white scallops on the cuffs, while the lower arms are plain white gloves. He accessorizes with a bowtie with a cerise center a black choker around his neck.

Angel Dust hides his trauma under a flirty bravado. He often drinks and is a stripper/exotic dancer but cares about those he’s close to.

Alastor is a rather tall, beige-skinned, and dapper humanoid deer-like sinner demon who is usually seen with a broad smile full of sharp, yellow teeth inside. He is at around the same height as his rival, Vox, with the two standing at approximately 7 feet tall. His hair is a hot pinkish-red, styled into a cropped, angled bob cut with black ends, and an undercut on the back. Atop his head are a pair of small black antlers from the crown, as well as a pair of large deer ears covered in his hair with black tips.

His eyes have red sclera with brighter-colored irises and slit-like pupils, and dark red eyelids with the color extending to his eyebrows in a way that mimics eyeshadow. His forearms and lower legs fade to black, and he also has red hoofed-toes and red claw-like fingers.

Alastor wears a red pinstriped coat with a darker high collar and long sleeves with brighter-colored cuffs, white-trimmed darker-red lapels, and the hem being slightly ragged. Under his coat, he wears a rather long, untucked bright red dress-shirt with a black cross on the chest. He also wears black dress pants with cuffs matching his coat, and red pointed-toed dress shoes with red deer hoofprints emblazoned on the soles.

He accessorizes with a black-knotted bowtie with a bright red center, and a small, oval-shaped, black-rimmed red monocle which he wears over his right eye. He also carries a thin staff with a sentient, vintage-style microphone at the top, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast his voice.

Alastor is sadistic and doesn’t really care about anyone. He’s the most powerful Sinner in Hell.

Husk is an anthropomorphic avian cat demon. His look is evocative of a magician, paired with a casino referencing playing card theme. The sclera of his eyes are black, with light yellow irises and slit pupils. He has large and lengthy, red feather-like eyebrows with black vertical stripes near the tips, and a small black heart above each eyebrow.

His fur is a dark taupe, overlayed with white on his face, torso, feet, and upper arms. The insides of his ears are white with a red tip at the point and red heart in the center. A black tuff of fluff protrudes from each, creating the appearance of small hearts.

He has a darker shade of his fur encircling his ankles, mimicking cuffs on a set of pants. His tail is long and dark taupe-colored, ending with a large spray of plume-like feathers which are a vivid-red with black and white stripes. He has heart-shaped, light yellow paw-pads underneath the paws on his hands and feet.

His wings are large and red, with darker-taupe on the undersides. The undersides of his wings are decorated with black stripes which feature red and white roulette wheel dot markings. The outside of his wings are decorated with more black stripes, which wrap around the joints and run around a row of white roulette wheel dots.

Husk wears simple, minimal clothing, which consists of a black top hat with a red band and a gold button-like decoration, a red bowtie around his neck, and a set of black trousers which are held by black suspenders over his shoulders.

Husk is described as a grumpy old man, but he just keeps a stern and calm face on to mask the pain while drinking quite a bit.

Niffty is a rather short cyclopean sinner demon with thin pointed limbs and white skin. Her eye sports a light yellow iris, thick eyelashes, a hot-pink sclera with a yellow gradient, and a large pie eye-cut pupil. When feeling homicidal, her pupil shrinks and her eye gains black veins.

Her short, chin-length red-pink hair is kept into a slightly messy and choppy 1950s bob cut with a curl on each side, and a single light yellow streak located at the top. Her mouth has sharp pale yellow teeth inside and black lips, and small hot-pink dots on each of the corners.

Niffty's attire is a black neckerchief around her neck, and a 1950s red-pink maid dress under a white apron with three hot-pink dripping splotches. She also wears long black gloves which covers most of her hands and arms, along with matching-colored tights.

She’s insane and has an urge to clean everything. She has the personality of a child, essentially, due to her going psychologically insane.
