M is a blood red Letter M. His eyes are spaced far apart near the top of his head and his mouth is wide. In his superhero form, he has muscles, red reflective eyes, and short, black hair. When he was little, he was one of the biggest in the Letters (excluding Z). He is seen pushing F when he gets angry at him for spelling the word frick. F tears gave M’s gem the “,” (comma) gem. When he appears in episode M he uses his gem and he gets muscles this makes him very strong and manly. He gets annoyed at N for losing his gem but later on shows a softer side for him, although he made N betray F before. He continued the journey to F's cave with G and the other surviving Letters until he was captured in F's goo. He was freed after N had defeated F and learns the truth from Q of why F did what he did. Feeling remorse, M looks at F's dead corpse one more time before Z turns back time. Lowercase M is seen alongside B, X, and Y, oblivious to Q and the UFO. In that time period, he grew into an adult and witnessed X being taken forcefully by One.

M used his comma gem in attempt to save X. While it worked at first, 1 succeeded in capturing X and was about to take off. As such, M uses his comma gem again to stop the ship from moving. This caused 1 and his clone to summon 2, who shot teeth at M, severely injuring him in the process. Q tried to save him but was unable to.

M reappears three episodes later, still suffering from his injuries sustained from Two, as he now relies on Y to help him move around. He and Y encounter X, who is still lamenting over the loss of his gem and failure to protect his home and friends. After X walks away in shame, the Five horde then catches up to him and Y, but T arrives just in time to save the two. M is a play on the "male-jock" stereotype as he is very thrill-seeking and ready to fight evil at any times. Even though he beat f up when little, M regretted his action after learning F's story.
