Lyza

Lyza is a legendary white whistle delver with a title "Sorvereign of annihilation" or "Lyza, the annihilator"

Appearance Lyza is a charmingly beautiful woman with long, wavy blonde hair with curls at the ends. She is fair and has large blue eyes with thick eyelashes. She wears a modified version of a typical Delving outfit, in red. She keeps two feathers tucked into the side of her helmet. She is quite petite, with 160 cm in height and somwhat a small frame.

Personality Lyza is fiery and assertive woman with a love for parties, drinking, and fights. She is cheerful, optimistic, and carefree, acting impulsively and expressing her thoughts with no filter. She had an incredibly unbalanced diet, but the letter of her is filled with recipes and explanations over what creatures are or are not edible, and how to cook them for a delicious meal, suggesting that she was very fond of unique and bizarre cuisine. She was particularly fond of alcohol. Despite her nonchalant disposition, she is exceedingly loyal and deeply concerned with the well-being of her loved ones, going to extraordinary lengths to ensure their safety. She confesses that she treasures her daughter, Riko, above any possession. Her biggest love, however, is arguably The Abyss itself, with an incomparable determination (or even obsession) to reach its bottom. As such, she often expressed awe and joy when exploring The Abyss, filled with curiosity and endeavor rather than fear. She was particularly fond of the Garden of the Flowers of Resilience within the 4th Layer, claiming it to be her favorite spot in The Abyss. She also seems to have a fascination in the grotesque and bizarre, expressing an almost childlike passion when observing the creatures of The Abyss.

Combat In battle she wielded the First Grade Artifact "Blaze Reap, the Everlasting Pickax". It is a pickaxe designed with a unique mechanism and equipped with an ever-lasting gunpowder called Peace Phobia. When it strikes something with enough force, it unleashes a violent, but directed explosion. It was originally created to be an excavation instrument, but Lyza preferred to use it as a weapon instead.

She was known for being capable of single-handedly annihilating anything she considered an enemy, be it a beast of The Abyss or a Delver from a rival nation. Her fighting ability was superb, as she is the only White Whistle Delver whose title refers to her ability to exterminate her enemies. She had even delved deep into The Abyss while pregnant, showcasing an impressive fortitude and tenacity.

Delving A legendary Delver greatly admired for her amazing talent both as an excavator and as a combatant, displaying an incredible proficiency delving within The Abyss. It is said that she set many records that remain unbeaten. She is considered one of the greatest Delvers, even among White Whistles. She has found many Special Grade Artifacts, exterminated incredibly dangerous creatures, and descended deeper than almost anyone else.

Mentor Before becoming a White Whistle Delver herself, Lyza studied under Ozen as an apprentice. They became very close friends, with Ozen becoming quite fond of Lyza. Ozen is a very tall and rather slim woman, speculated to stand at over 2 meters in height. She has a strangely shaped monochrome hairstyle that conceals scalp deformations caused by extensive exposure to The Curse of the Abyss. Her eyes are pitch black and lusterless, giving her an unsettling and disturbing gaze. When fully equipped for delving, she wears bulky armor and a disc-shaped hat that conceals her eyes. Her White Whistle is adorned with a pair of horns, giving it a bovine appearance. Despite being a White Whistle for over 50 years, she appears deceivingly youthful, with only her white hair showing her age. Coldness dominates her personality. She can often be cruel, cynical, and apathetic. She despises lying to children, and rarely does so, even if it means telling them brutal truths. Ozen has absolute control over her facial expressions, making her actual feelings (or lack thereof) ambiguous. However, she is not completely devoid of warmth. She privately and dearly cares for Lyza.

Daughter Riko, is the only child of the White Whistle Lyza, the Annihilator. When she was only two, her mother began her Last Dive to the bottom of The Abyss. Since her father, Torka, had died before she was even born, she was left in the care of Belchero Orphanage. Her dream is to become a White Whistle, a legendary type of Delver, and explore the depths of The Abyss with her group in order to learn its many secrets like her mother. Riko is a short girl with a plain face and green eyes. She had been depicted with long blonde hair styled in two pigtails, sometime being braided or in a ponytail. While delving in The Abyss, she wears a delver jacket over a leotard, stockings, rock-climbing harness, a delver's helmet, and (rarely) a pair of protective goggles. For casual wear, in Orth, she would often don a white dress re-enforced with a leather seat and a pair of grey, blue, and turquoise colored boots. Riko is a good-natured, joyful, and energetic child with a kind and gentle heart who deeply cares for her friends. She has a quick and inquisitive mind, gathering and properly organizing all the information available on subjects that interest her.[18] For the team, she is the unbreakable force of enthusiasm in the midst of their constant hardships. The Abyss excites her to no end. Growing up, she diligently studied to become a Delver like her mother was, enchanted by its mysteries and secrets. By the age of twelve, she had become an Apprentice Delver with the right to explore 1st Layer of The Abyss on her own. She is fragile and lacking in physical prowess. However, her ability to keep a cool head under pressure and make rational decisions allows her to tackle The Abyss, even in extraordinary circumstances. She prioritizes her own desires, so she has made and suffered from rash actions. She can also make a delicious meal out of anything, is willing to eat food that others would find repelling, and has little regard for personal space.
